if you're only interested in total T, then early morning sample. no need fasting.

No blood test before? Hope you dont pass out when they stick you with that big a$$ needle.
damn I dont think I go more than 3 months without getting some type of blood test. Just had one 2 days ago. lol
As said, no need for fasting. Thats only for cholesterol.
Try not to drink alcohol the day or two before.
Refrain from sex for at least 24 hrs.
Get good sleep the night before

Naa. When you leave you will say "What was I worried about? That was easy!".
When you're done, keep your arm extended. (Don't bend your elbow) to avoid bruising. And be sure to gets some food right away after your visit.
Wait at least 6 hours before you go to the gym. I wait 24 hours.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Fasting is to accurately gauge triglycerides and blood glucose.
Just get the test done soon after you wake up for an accurate testosterone reading.

How about kidney function , do I need fasting?

You don't HAVE to fast. If lipids are very healthy then they will test good without fasting.
I wouldn't sweat it too much either way.
