Ordering from Thailand

Hey guys

My girlfriend lives in the US but she's from Thailand and she can ask her sister to buy and mail to US using her adress. Is this a good idea? Is she likely to get in trouble?

I would think you'd be alright if packed correctly.

Chances of it getting through are very slim. us Customs inspects things coming from Thailand/SE Asia pretty hard. Not to mention, from what I hear, the chance of the package being opened/inspected before being shipped out is probable also. Although, I have heard of someone doing it successfully, but I'll let them speak for themselves if they want. You're taking a risk loosing the gear and the shipping costs. No, I wouldn't recommend/advise anyone to receive or ship from Here.

I would say its maybe 50/50 at best. Lots of illegal substances are trafficked from that area of the world, I have never worked for customs so just an educated guess...

Just use a fake return address and a fake receiver name. Don't require a signature (obviously).
