When did it start
I knew nothing about aas before lurking here a year or so ago. What got my attention was how much emphasis is placed on proper protocols, PCT , AIs , HCG , recovery time, diet. How long has this knowledge been the rule in the world of AAS? I mean in the 70's and 80's did any of this exist or were guys just taking whatever for as long as they wanted? When did AI's and PCT come along?

Nolva was around in the golden age of body building. It was used as an AI and pct because there was simply nothing else.
We put an emphasis on cycling safely here and the newer safer drugs are the ones that can help people from getting nasty sides or experiencing lifelong issues.
They simply weren't around in the 70's

I have to imagine that the internet really helped modernize aas use. Can't imagine there was a steroid version of High Times lol.
