gains stopped from week 5 test e
Im about to start week 8 of a 500mg test e cycle. problem is, from week 5 my gains have stopped. my strength is slowly rising but the weight is no more. starting weight was 78kg (171.6) and now I am around 84kg (185). around 13-14%bf.
my diet has been pretty good. I am eating around 3600 cals a day and I still cant put any more weight on. over 1000 surplus.
question is should I up the calories more, even tho its a high surplus as it is?
my age is 25, 6ft.
diet:
7am 150g oats, 200ml egg whites, 1 egg.
10am 150g oats 1 scoop ON protein
1pm 150g chicken breast 100g broc 100g oats
4pm 200g pork mince 100g wholemeal pasta
train 5pm 6pm
6.30pm 100g oats 1 scoop ON protein
9pm 150g chicken breast 100g broc 100g white rice
total cals 3620. 68g fat 425g carbs 280g protein

Well the bigger you get, the more calories you need. If you've stopped growing, you've stopped eating enough. Your maintaince is no longer 2600.

Well, you look a little leaner in the second pic from the first which would suggest that either your maintenance is not what you think it is on cycle or you're not always eating as much as in your example. Either way more food is the answer imo.

Ok thanks guys. Il up it to around 4k and see what happens. Should I go more carbs or protein and carbs?

loosing weight is a bitch, but it sounds like you really want to grow. a master of nutrition can worry about staying cut up 24/7. i used to be cut up, but **** it; it ain't about looking pretty anymore

Unless you want to gain more water and fat, I think you are just where you need to be. You look leaner and harder and better so it's working. At week five you could only have gained such mass as you have. You need to check the diet, stay on target and keep on. You will find plateaus every so often. It take time.
IMOP if you gain more weight faster right now it will be fat and water. Train harder. ...crazy mike
