    Need some expert advice

    Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum, this is my second post. I'm looking for advise please. Coming back from having a discetomy/laminectomy of the lower back. I weigh about 160 pounds 5'6"s not in that greatest of shape right now. I'm in my mid 40's now and would like to do my first cycle, but not sure what would be a good for me to start. I would like to put some size on, as well as be lean. So, I can strengthen my core and hopefully alleviate my back pain and get back into some type of shape. Like I said, I'm new to the game and could use some advise here please. Thanks in advise jujutsu777

How is your nutrition plan? You need to put a cycle together for critic including the use of AI, hcg and pct for starters

Welcome! since you're new to the "game" fist you need/must educate yourself, read as many stickies as possible, then hit the Nutrition forum to get started. remember AAS are powerful drugs not a magic pill, if you don't know what you're doing you could end up hurting yourself.

How long have you been training bro?AAS isn't something one just takes to get in shape. You can injure your joints tendons and ligaments if you have not been training.

I was thinking the same thing. You mentioned you haven't been training all that long, sounds like. Being in just good shape as in not intermediate isn't the time to start steroids . Please read up much more and get a firmer grasp as to the true gains, time to start, and the ramifications such as ligament and tendon damage. Good luck ...crazy mike

I would get back in the gym and have diet dialed in for at least 3-4 months before jumping on anything.
At 40 yrs old it would be a great idea to get some bloodwork done to see where you stand.

Thanks for your response, right now I've been eating clean 5 times a day. I have been doing calisthenics 4 times a week. Trying to lose a little of the mid section fat and strengthen my core before introducing the weights. I can't run because of my back, but I do walk 3 times a week or I ride the stationary in the house. I was reading up on Anavar . What do you think?

Thanks crazy mike. I'm going to keep reading up before making any decisions. I've been doing physical therapy the past year. I've been eating clean the past month with calisthenics and walking. But you brought up a good point. The ligaments in my back aren't in the greatest shape since the surgery. I'm in my mid 40's now. I don't want to make anything worse. I'm going to keep doing my part as well as more research. Thanks

your question regarding using roids been answered already! anavar has sides like HBP, destroying Lipds and your kidney, especially at your age. also will give you some strength, not sure if that's a good idea since you're recovering from a surgery!

Thank you for your quick response and advice. I will follow your suggestion. Prior to my surgery I had a blood test and all my levels were well with no problems. What should I be looking for (high blood pressure, cholesterol,)???? Thank you again.

Thanks song dog. Prior to my surgery I was very active. Trained 4 days a week in martial arts/boxing. I would incorporate weights twice a week. I had the build of a martial artist, not so much of a weight lifter. Pretty well defined. But since the surgery not as active. Physical therapy the past year. I've been doing calisthenics and walking. I've been eating 5 clean meals a day for the past 2 months. I'm going to start the weights now. Just trying to be smart and go in stages. I'm going to do some more research, have some blood work done before making any decisions. Thank you for your advice and you input.

Thank you Bass. I think the cons out weigh the pro on this one. I'm going to keep focusing on my recovery, and continue doing my research. Thank you again for all your input.
