Injecting into Quad on Squat Day a Bad Idea?

Just did my first pin, 250mg of Test-E, Quad is definitely a preferred site cause I wanna be able to see WTF I'm doing and my plan was to inject in one quad on my 1st weekly pin and the other quad on the second.

So I injected, went smoothly, a tiny little bit of tenderness just like a flu shot would be in your shoulder but when I went to squat I felt a little weak and less explosive ( I squat ATG olympic style so very quad dominant )

Just wondering what others experiences are with this, should I inject the day before I use the muscle? Or am I dumb and was just having a bad lifting session haha?

Depends on the person, it probably is best to stay away from injection in quad on leg day. Doesn't bother me, but if your new to injecting you may be more sensitive. Day after injection you probably feel tenderness. I know someone injected only 100mgs cyp (trt) and felt the pain the next day on legs. If you were looking for a booster and that was your first pin it would not happen anyway.

Ok thanks bro, I will stay away for it at least for now since I am brand new to injecting haha. I'll try my delts on my next Leg/pin day. I'm about 12 hours post injection

Thanks Austin, I appreciate all of your help on here, but do you remember if you were more sore at the start of your AAS adventures than you are now?

Yes I was. But it was due to poor injection technique and nothing else. Keep your hand steady, inject very slowly and pause a couple times before injection is complete. That should prevent any issues.

Some compounds have high concentrations, such as test prop 150, or test 400. These tend to leave some discomfort behind.

Ok thanks for the tips! I was pretty shaky, mostly due to morning coffee being a strong one today and also a little nervous. Much appreciated!

No problem. Yeah, the tip of the needle is pretty much a blade. And excessive movement will cut up the fibers. Muscles don't like that so they react, and that's where 99% of PIP complaints stem from.

I like to inject before bed. I figure that, if I did a tiny bit of damage, the period of inactivity gives me the best chance of recovery. But, careful injections will really ensure minimal pip.

Hmm that's a good idea too... maybe I will try this as I get better at injecting (steadier)

    Thanks!

Quads are my preferred area of injection. I will do legs same day as injection no problem, if its the day after injection I do notice my performance is down.

I've always just rotated spots it so that they didn't line up, seems like a safe way to play it imo.

Thanks for the answers everyone. I love hearing all the different views! I think I will either inject at the end of the day before bed that way there will be a good 3-4 days before my next leg day. As my hands get steadier it should be less of an issue anyways.
