    Working out twice a day

I am planning on dividing my cardio and weights up into two individual sessions. However does it matter if I do the cardio pre-meal in the morning and weights at night or vice versa?

    Nope. It's fine.

Because what is happening is if i do premeal cardio i either get too lazy and tired at night to do weights or my weight workout sucks.

Just time your cardio when you're comfortable. The only thing that matters with cardio is to do enough to balance out your expenditure based on your goals and intake.

I always do my cardio after weights when I'm on an empty stomach.

Doesn't doing cardio after the weights affect your weight workout at all? You obviously lose your pump.

If you mean muscle, no, not at all. Cardio after training is done because your HR is already up and you won't have to run as long as you normally would to burn X amount of calories. If you start cardio cold, it takes about 20 minutes to get into a decent burning zone.

This ^^^ when I am leaning out and bringing out my vascularity I do my cardio just after my workout. I'm in the gym quite some time but even fatigued I am warmed up. I reach high level of energy and able to cruise on my bike cardio in a shorter time. As said when I go in to my cardio cold, OH GOD , I find it just exhausting to get where I need to be for heart rate and blood flow and pass thru that initial state of cardio pain level to reach my cruise ...crazy mike

For myself personally I have to split mine up for best results. I do cardio on NON weight training days only.

So if I do split the cardio and weights up it wouldn't matter if I do the cardio premeal or if I do it after weights in the same workout. What heart range should I aim for?
