6 weeks in to test only cycle, my experience so far.
500 t E weekly
.25 eod Arimidex
200 iu HCG day before each pin.
Age 53.
First ever cycle.
Not much happened for first 3 weeks, then a gradual improvement in recovery, week 5 noticed increase in strength gains, improving every workout.
Sex drive did not really kick in til week 6.
One thing I did not expect was tiredness on rest days, no soreness, but dog tired, I put this down to heavy workouts.
I have put on 12 lb, but the strange thing is it doesn't look like it, I look much the same to myself, I don't have any puffiness yet, must be the use of AI, don't know if this is hampering gains, but will stick with AI.
If I take an average of 5 reps bench is up by 10kg.
Squat 20 kg
Dead lift 20 kg
Standing press 15kg
Row 15 kg
These may not sound impressive but I have trained for 23 years and everyone of these weights is a record lift for me.
I have not really felt the feel good factor that comes with test, but I have not felt worse.
Struggling with protein intake, can't get enough in from fish, meat sources, just don't feel hungry on test?.
I have had to supplement with quite a lot of protein shakes, not ideal I know.
Others have noticed change in body composition, so it must be happening.
Awaiting mid cycle blood results, so far so good.
Glad I joined this site and listened to some good honest advice.

How much are you eating? You should be hungry
-
everything sounds right my friend, except you may need to adjust your AI, this is the culprit for your tiredness.

Oh and if it doesnt look like u put on weight , probably because you lost bf as well.

Op, we all look into the mirror and tell ourselves "not there yet" pay attention to your weight and strength gains. That will give you piece of mind. Also when it comes to food, sometimes you have to force your self to eat. Diet and cal intake (clean) will determine your cycle success. I consume 3500 cals a day 50/40/10 and it's a ton of food but I'm always hungry. Good luck to you!

Jim, I am actually eating less, keeping protein high, carbs and fat low, don't want to gain to much fat. The test seems to have suppresses my appetite. The only time I feel hungry is the middle of the night. I am downing 3x 35 gram whey shake during the day 35 gram multi source whey, egg, casein shake before bed. 1 25 gram chicken breast daily, 30 grams tuna per day. For carbs either 2 small potions of brown rice daily or 1 large baked potato.
40 grams of unrefined oats in water with sweeteners every morning, broccoli and a few raw carrots with meals.
Supplements of vit c, b5, b12, zinc p, potassium, q10, nac, flax oil.
Almost forgot a handful of dates with oats and during workouts.Last edited by dickster; 10-05-2013 at 10:49 PM.

Thing is I physically can't eat anymore, I used to be able to eat a lot more previous to cycle, I think the protein is suppressing my appetite.

Definetaly need to eat more if you want to see more results..food is key. My last cycle 5 years ago, I force fed myself 5000 cal/day to the point of almost puking, put on 25 lbs though..

Eat foods that are more calorie dense. Get rid of that baked potato an replace it with brown rice the same volume of food in brown rice will be triple the calories.
Also get a blood test ASAP to see if your gear is real. Your gear could be fake still even after i read your original post. I gained 12 pounds in 6 weeks on fake gear but i was eating a lot more than you.

Boxroot, thanks, the gear is 100%, like I said I am smashing lifts by 10/20 kg for reps, hitting these after 23 years tells me the gear is good, with 4 weeks to go I will hit 20/30 kg more for bench/squat/press/deads ect, I was probably already at my natural potential before starting cycle, so I am really pleased.
I think the comments and posts on my diet are valid and helpful, will alter my carb intake and attempt to more quality calories in.
