cutting while building muscle
I am looking to do a cycle to get me stronger and cut. I am not looking for the gains in size so much. My goal is to gain strength and cut fat. I am 5'11'' and about 185. I would like to be 190 and cut. I train hard everyday of the week and my diet is pretty much steak and potatoes.
Im thinking about running anavar for some mass gains and clenbuterol for cutting. I have not decided on the dosage yet becuase i have not decided on what my stack should be.

Gaining size and losing fat is kind of a double edged sword. Var alone will not add mass and clem is a pretty harsh compound to use usually used when that extra bit of fat can't be taken off through diet and exercise. Even when you bulk and gain 15 to 20 lbs., you will be doing well if at the end of pct you have gained 3 to 5 lbs of muscle. Most of the weight will be a combination water, fat and muscle.

Why do bodybuilders all bulk up and then cut? If there was some substance that just allowed the production of lean muscle it would be used. Fact is we are designed to store energy (fat ) so that in hard times ex. winter, drought etc we can use that energy to survive.
When you are cut to shreds and competing your body may not be not in a healthy state, low body fat, dehydration etc. I have seen mates win comps and then literally fall down after and require immediate hospitalization. Their kidneys and livers have been in trouble from overuse of diuretics.
So what I am getting at is, cycle, bulk up then cut back and stay inside the bounds of sanity! Read more on nutrition, meat and potatoes are not the perfect diet.
Clen has some nasty side effects, High blood pressure and the worst cramps ever. I do not like it at all. Good Luck. John

It can be done. But not on short spans. This takes a really long time. The fat loss progress is much much slower than cutting. So it's just not convenient for cycling because you don't want to be "ON" for a year.
For faster results, you should bulk or cut.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

i would just do a very lean bulk and a moderate mount of test, with a dash of adex, and maybe a var or another dht derive. You could also try bulking with a moderate amount of t-3. I don't have personal experience with that, but some of the vets might be able to help you with that.

I decided. not to run it with test. I am not able to inject right now, for personal reasons. But i am going to do a bulking cycle. And the only reason i asked about the pct was becuase i was told that you didnt have becuase it was just anavar and winstrol .
But no I am not very experienced. That is why i come to the threads before starting a cycle. I do my research but i realize that anything i put in my body can have harsh effects if not done properly. That is why i ask.

You should not run any cycle with out test as a base and you need it to function. Abd yes var and stanazol will shut ypu down. Im curious what personal reasons are there that wont allow you to inject?
If your not ready to inject your not ready for the joy that aas bring

OP, how is it you're not after gains in size so much but you want to be 5lbs heavier at a likely much lower BF percentage which would indicate significant lean body mass/size gains? Strength on a cut can be had, will be slow but aas should help slightly. Gaining lbm while cutting? Can't be done in normal time periods as Austinite mentioned. You're looking at 1-2yrs of recouping with smaller cut and bulk cycles vs a typical long bulk/cut of considerably less time.
