safe dosage for HGH newbie for healing purposes
i have crohns and am looking for a way to help me with my symptoms. I am planning on replicating the clinical trial that they did but i have a question on the dosage.
Growth of an ibd controversy: Growth hormone and controversy's disease - Binion - 2006 - Inflammatory Bowel Diseases - Wiley Online Library
the amount they used was the following:
"a loading dose of 5 mg/day (subcutaneous injection) of growth
hormone (somatropin) for 7 days, followed by 1.5 mg/day
maintenance regimen"
if 1mg=3iu.....that would mean you had to take 15iu for the loading and 4.5 iu for the maintenance.... isnt that a very very high amount for a beginner? all the reading ive done says to only take 2 to 3 iu for repairing
thanks

Absolutely would not take that much your first time with GH, much better to go with 2-3 ius

even some of the UGL websites say to do that high a dosage, im so confused!
Some guidelines are these:
3-4IU per day for anti-ageing
4-8IU per day for increased muscle mass and fat loss
8-16 IU per day for treatment of severe burns and injuries, wasting diseases and various other severe indications

i hope you are aware of what HGH does to blood glucose levels, (keeping in mind that Crohn's is a fistulizing disease, typically treated with bowel resections...) and is treated with hardcore cortico's also.... might want to have a chat with a proper doctor ^^
whats your plan basically? keep on meds/ +/-not tell your doc/already have a stoma/high insulin resistance from glucocorticoids.
it is an interesting study for sure though. GL with whatever you decide.

hi the reason i started this post was because the clinical trial which gave me the idea in the first place stated ridiculously high dosage of this stuff which is for pro body builders, let alone just a regular joe like me.
im just wondering if my concerns are valid and i should do the standard 2-3 iu for beginners or is the amount listed in the study really the amount the guys use to heal body parts/organs
thanks

2-3 iu is.good for pharm.grade raising only when no sides. But ugl GH?. No ugl.would have the equipment to manufacture real GH. More likely get PEPs tbh. Marcus could shed more light in the difference thane tho tbh. Ur lucky to get real GH from any source nowadays.

"Good" sounds a little iffy to me, but if you trust your source then I guess you should be fine.
