How much difference do steroids make?
Hypothetical scenario:
Two twins. Twin A and Twin B.
Twin A did X workout with Y diet, and so did Twin B. When Twin A reached the age of 25, he decided to take steroids . When Twin B reached the age of 25, he decided to stay natural. The two of them both did the same workout and the same diet plan.
Now, in this scenario, let's say that they both have a 300 pound bench press and their goal is to bench press more. After about 2 years of steroid usage with consistent training and dieting (same training programs and same diet), how much more will Twin A, the steroid-user, will gain?

Genetic makeup varies, even in twins. Even in identical twins (Same egg). So question isn't relevant.

Are you saying that steroids can only potentially increase progress? It's not even a guarantee?

No. I am saying you're comparing twins, which is not relevant. Obviously a steroid user who knows how to maintain strength/lean gains will be stronger/bigger.
That's my mom, and thanks.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

The twin using juice will be 20lbs of muscle heavier and will bench an extra 80 lbs.

There is no definate answer. They will not eat nor train the same. I will tell you this though, steroids increase strength and muscle mass.
How do I know?
26 years natural training till age 50. I was at my strongest ever. All natural power lifter, My lifts are on record. Bench 157.5kg, squat 220 kg, dead lift 235 kg. For the bench I had a bench shirt.
Now I am 58, I have had a broken back, compound fractures right leg steel pins in the bone. Two hernia operations. My best lifts this year were Bench 150kg (no shirt ) Squat 250 kg. Dead lift 280 kg. No one can get stronger at 60 than they were at 50 naturally. Not only that where before I could do a max 10 reps at 100kg bench, Now I can do 25.
Over 34 years of training I know steroids work, I can see who uses them. The sad thing is 90 per cent of users are wasting their time and money, they could achieve as much by training and dieting correctly. They will not live this as a lifestyle, its just a fad. They will loose all gains after cycle. They are not motivated nor talented enough.
There are a total of 6 men in Australia, power lifters my age or older. 3 have held world records. They still train. The other 5 never used! IPF checks all competitors. I never used to win, I use now because it means I still do as I love, can still get stronger, can compete in non IFP events. Even if you look at the world records, IFP versus NPA or other comps where steroids were not tested the results are vastly different. About 20 per cent.
Kind regards, John

Everyone is different. Absorption of food minerals and vitamins could vary enough for a difference. To many variables.
But if 2 trains leave the station at 2 pm ....... Lol.
