    Hi fellows
Have a basic question that im conflicted on.

How much should I really be lifting?

    Now context:

    Current cycle
    Wk 1-12 Test E 900mg
    Wk 1-11 Deca 600 mg
    Wk 1-4 Dbol 50mg/day
    Wk 13-20 Test E 300mg
    Wk 13-20 Tren A 50-100/day

    on week 5 now.

Im 33 years young, 6ft, 260, Diet is great and I get it changed weekly from a Fit Pro friend ( not looking to get into diet talk here)

Right now every body part a once a week and Arms 2-3 times a week (because I want do arms that much thats why

My intent is to grow grow grow I know I’m stating the obvious. But don’t want to plateau. looking to shake it and keep it fresh

    Thoughts?

A study in japan says that a person only needs 48 hours rest between workouts.
they studied bicep work outs for six months but these were natty body builders
I too am interested to know how often one should rest on a cycle

    cool input Jsanman
Arnold Schwarzenegger - Modern Bodybuilding Encyclopedia says 48 hours for biceps and others parts longer like legs.
so thats sounds about right. based off my own experience its true for me. thus why I hit them 3 times a week.

but really want to know what big guys ( not small guys that have read) but what big guys do and think.

If I worked any muscle other than abs 3 times a week there wouldn't be much left of me. I would shrivel up like a raisin

If you are able to train a body part 3 times a week I don't think that muscle is getting trained hard enough to grow. If it is getting trained hard enough, than it is not enough time to repair and grow.

Let me add, I'm not a giant but 5"11 220 right now is not tiny IMO and I continually grow working everything once a week. I do work calves and abs twice a week.

Well.... Idunno what you consider big..... I'm 6'1 264 and work everything out once a week.

Maybe that's why I'm still kinda small :-/

When I lift..... Atleast currently..... I shoot for absolute failure. Marcus has a great thread in the lounge regarding this. If you are reaching total failure..... U can't workout two days later and doit again.

Just curious.... What's ur bf% and what do your arms measure? What kind of improvements have u seen using this method. It's atleast worth a discussion.....

Body fat is about 17% right now.
    Arms are 18.5 flexed.

I truly follow Ct Fletcher's advice about arms. For me it's not augment. I see his stuff and have spoke to him about it its simple Theres The proof and theres the pudding. It works.

Many hate on him but who cares. Like I said. Pudding and proof.

I'm not arguing..... Everyone is different so there is no one method for all. If its giving you results then keep doing it.

Just don't be scared to switch it up every once in a while. I've used a few different training techniques and I've found one that really has made vast improvements for me. I can't train like this for months and months on end so every now and then ill switch it up.

Ya for sure. I do change it up and keep it fresh. I'm way cool with blasting arms once a week as well. Used to for years. I just see full volume and growth so I like it.
Just wondering about the rest of my body. If I should hit them more when on cycle.

I personally don't hit anything more than once but again..... I try to hit true positive failure and breakdown the deepest fibers of muscle. I'm often sore a few days later.

That's my take on it..... See what others say. I did have a friend that trained legs twice a week and swore they needed to be destroyed that often.

I like training things twice a week with a three day on one day off. also power days for your first three days then hypertrophy for the next three but genetics play a big role on how you grow an what works for your body. took me years to figure out what works for my body like hamstrings need 8 sets of a good amount of weight an high reps other wise I can't get them to grow same with my lats quads take heavy ass weight with no more then 8 reps each persons a little different then the next good luck.

Cool I agree. its so fun to find out what works for you. I learned this year infact that drop sets were the shizzel for me. 3 sets of 10 heavy, med, light back to back.
