Worst steroid experience.

Hey guys I joined up a short time ago and got some great info from the forums as well as one on one advice from other individuals here. One thing I thought would benefit the forums as well as other new members would be to get some stories about bad steroid experiences you may have had. What were they? How did you overcome them? How could you have prevented this from happening?

never really had major issues-slight issues I have are/is
-back acne
-thinning loosing little hair (happening anyway now just little faster)
-one time durning quad pinning did get good size lump under skin-did make me nervious but it went away after week
-and wife bitching

When i was 18 and brand new to pinning, i once drew up the dose n capped the rig n didn't get around to poking myself with it for about 24 hours later... Ended up with a huge infection in my r glute...Never do that again, lol!!!

I did a cycle about 3 years ago which is why I believe I'm now on TRT for the rest of my life. I don't think I ever recovered from that which is why I'm on TRT. I also just got a double infection in the past few weeks from contaminated gear. Def. not fun.

Surely wasn't test only. Must have been like deca right? And no hcg etc

It was Test C only at 500mg/week. I think the problem was that I didn't use HCG but who knows??? I can't pinpoint the low T to that as I'm only speculating. Either way I'm pinning forever now.

Only bad experience I've had was my first gusher from a quad injection. I was thinking shit just got real blood is squirting from my body

First cycle... after my pct (which was a classic nolva/clomid) I had an extremely severe lack of energy, depression, no sex drive, was cold all the time. Turns out I had a genetic predisposition for hypothyroidism (runs in the family). The cycle sped up the death of my thyroid gland, maybe via the prolactin-TRH relationship, but I'll never know for sure. Once diagnosed and stabilized on synthroid all was well again. But it was the worst few months of my life and it may have contributed to my break up with my fiance. Also caused me to lose all my gains, which have now been nearly regained naturally (years later).

Really I should be thankful... it allowed me to catch my thyroid problem early and stabilize it years before I otherwise could have... and it turns out my fiance was a total bitch anyway!!! But I can only appreciate these things in retrospect.

This is one of the reasons I will harp on people to check their TSH/T4/T3 post cycle if their pct didn't seem to work!

Absolutely can happen from one cycle. That's what we try to tell people here all the time.

Personally, I haven't had any terrible experiences. I lost pretty much all endurance with a cycle I just came off of.. which sucked. That was a side effect of the tren I was taking. Tren cough isn't too much fun either. So probably for me, some sides from running tren. There are some scary stories though of users who were reckless and/or uneducated in the compunds they were administering.

It's really a shame. Hormones and the HTPA regulate a lot of functions in the human body. Too many people take this stuff (anabolics) having no clue about how necessary a healthy HTPA is and once you shut it down, there's no guarantee of a full or partial recovery....and if the HTPA remains "disabled" you'll learn a painful lesson of how vital the HTPA really is.

Absolutely. Many people (including myself) have regrets and wish they 'knew what they know now' the first time they took steroids . I can honestly say that if I did, I never would have done them until probably pretty recently.

Well, it wasn't out intent to put the fear of god into you. Lol. Anytime you interrupt the natural production of any hormone, you run the risk of disrupting normal function for prolonged periods. It's impossible to say who will and who will not recover or who's recovery will be slower. These are risks every anabolic user must understand and be prepared to accept.

In some cases, a lifetime of TRT may be needed to feel "normal" after cycling anabolics. It doesn't happen every time, but it does happen.

Im not done with my cycle but I can already note a few things:
1. Injecting too soon and RIGHT on top of a prior injection. Total noob mistake and I paid for it with pain for about a week.
2. Test flu, currently at the end of it.
3. Injecting in delt, very painful for me.

Hopefully never have to deal with post cycle nightmares.

Gyno, ED, sore joints, high blood pressure and my liver and ball sack have been sore lately.

I had had my breast gland cut out i use 20mg cialis every day and 150mg deca a week these have helped the gyno,ed and joint problems. Now i just have to find out how to lower my blood pressure and stop my liver and sack from hurting. 25 years old. I wish i did wait but oh well whats done is done.

On my test only cycles no issues at all, it was for sure "enjoy the ride" so nothing negative to report.

My worst experiences so far is shooting tren ace then immediately afterward popping a half a dose of sleeping aid then immediately going to bed.

The sleeping aid was enough to make my head foggy as hell (normally would have knocked me out) but the tren won and I didn't go to sleep, the combined feeling was like a bad trip.

So far I don't like tren, every few days I'm like "well I may just stop this crap", then I look in the mirror and I'm like nah I'm gonna ride this out :-)

Tren turns my stresses into aggression and anger, I am aware of it so no problems, but it's for sure different, nothing like a test only cycle. I would love to run primo but holy crap that's a lot of money.

I agree with Pistol Pete! For me it was the emotional side not so much anger. I would just break down for no reason and you felt like an emotional draining cloud was above you the whole time, very unpleasant. Would I ever run Tren again, Hell yes!! I did 3 more times after that and I learned to deal with that side of Tren. I also agree that running Tren a lot lower can help with the issues. Tren is a strong drug and even a small amount you can benefit from.

I get lucky with Clomid. The only thing that gets me is visual disturbances, blurred vision, artifacts sometimes. It's like a small LSD Trip lol!

I would have to say I had some very cystic acne on my back and shoulders that required accutane treatment at the end of my first cycle. And I blame it on a lack of PCT and running an AI on my first cycle. But I'll never know since I didn't get bloods done throughout the cycle or after. Luckily though my bloods came up good almost a year later which I am thankful for.

ccrazy hot flashes during pct.. like 2-3 minutes of crazy hot and then repeating like every 10 minutes for a few weeks .. hated it... got bloods done after pct and everything was fine..
