    pins

Always see use 23x1.5 for glute. Is there a reason not to use 25x1.5 for glute?

I use 25g for everything. Takes a few seconds longer and requires more pressure but I hope it is cutting down on scar tissue. I am on TRT (104 injections a year, forever) so I am trying to take a long-term approach.

Yeah I use 23 everywhere now but wanted to try 25. Pinning gets old fast. Thanks

I draw with 23g 1.5in and pin with 25g 1in for everything (painless and smooth). I have used 25g 5/8 pins in delts, but oil leaks out after pinning so I switched back to 1in pins.

I think 25g is the way to go, any smaller and those oil based liquids are going to have one hell of a time getting through that needle. Like a golf ball through a garden hose

30 minutes??? you can/should load it with your 20g (remove plunger) inject takes no more than 4 secs.... don't know how you do things but seems you could improve...

Could have been in scar tissue. Just a possibility.

I use 25 1 inch for both glute and delts, 5/8 for delts also just push all the way down, never an issue. I do load with an 18 then switch out. Recently read how people don't bother just load and shoot. Someone compared it to going to a Dr office, do you ever see them load then switch out the pin to something smaller? I never have, I just like that nice sharp point on entry.

I've gone down to 27gauge pins. Both 25 and 27 are effective; the 25g offers a slight advantage. I draw with 18g.

Only time I use slin pins is for SQ injections or water soluble compounds.

In clinic, 25g pins are pretty standard use for me.

I couldn't agree more, that's exactly what I did. I started low 20s, 21 I think, then found my way from there to 23 and from 23 to 25.
