I can't seem to put on any muscle. Time for my first cycle? (18 years old)
Hey Everyone,
This is my first post. My name is David, I'm 18 years old. I'm pretty small, 5'10 and about 135lbs. I can't put on weight or muscle no matter what I do. I workout about 3 days a week, I always drink a protein shake after and I've been taking CellTech, which is a high calorie mass-builder that contains creatine and other supplements. I eat right although it doesn't matter what I eat, I could eat mcdonalds 3 times a day and I wouldn't gain a pound. It's really frustrating.
I think I want to do a cycle but I have a few questions:
1) Having just turned 18 I'm definitely not done growing, if done properly, how likely is a cycle to stunt my growth?
2) Would it be better for me to take testosterone , duredecabolin, winstrol , HGH or a combination of those? Or something else?
3) I'm not trying to get ridiculously huge, I just need some help gaining muscle mass. I'd like to put on 10-20lbs. Can you help me design a cycle that would be right for me?
4) I'm not completely against injections, but I'm not crazy about the idea of it either. Would I still see results from oral steroids alone?
5) I can get AndroGel (topical testosterone gel), would i see any results from that alone? It seems like a good way to put a mild amount of testosterone in my body, and I think that would go a long way for me. What do you think?
6) What side effects am I likely to experience with my first cycle? What can I do to prevent negative side effects? What about post cycle therapy ?
Any other advice you can give me? This would be my first cycle, I've done my research but I have no actual experience with anabolic steroids so I apologize if anything I said doesn't really make sense. I'm open to all diet, workout, supplement and steroid suggestions. Anything you think I can do to put on some muscle, let me know.
Thank you very much!
-David

Take a look at this thread please.
http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-steroids.html
Very few people on this site will condone steroid use for you right now. The benefits do not outweigh the risks of shutting down your neuroendocrine system while its likely still developing.
Most guys who come here saying that can't grow, don't realize how much food it takes to grow. Even with steroids , if you don't eat well above your TDEE, you will not grow as you certainly won't retain any muscle you develop.
How many calories are you eating per day? What is your TDEE? Is your daily intake above or below your TDEE and by how much? These questions are where you need to start. Eating correctly and eating enough food to support growth needs to be established before you begin to consider steroids. You will never grow if you don't eat beyond your TDEE -steroids or no steroids.
......and most guys who are serious about growing lean muscle mass train 4-6 days a week.

If you cant gain weight with mcdonald(would be fat anyway...)
What make you think that the few gain youll make on steroid will last???
It simply wont...
Plus, like said above you are risking alot for nothing...
If I were you I would check with your med about coeliaque disease or anything related to the digesrive system. (my GF have coeliaque disease and she is skinny and have hard time gaining weight too...)
Because mcdonald is the best when weight gain is desired. And if it cant help you, you have something wrong...
Probably serious health issue.
You would be better off fixing this before trying to screw you up more with steroids ...

McDonalds was not the focal point of my post. I know eating mcdonalds would just put on fat. I've never actually tried eating mcdonalds 3 times a day every day. I was just making a hyperbole and I was trying to say that I have a fast metabolism and i never seem to gain any weight.
Definitely not a serious health issue. Thanks for the reply but theres not need to post something that is not helpful to me in any way.

Wow, you want to take steroids so you can be 145-155 lbs? I hope you realize how ridiculous this sounds. I was once 130 lbs at 18 years old too. I thought I had the same problem as you. But all it took was proper training, and proper eating. I was able to gain really well. You likely just aren't eating as much and consistently as you think you are, I have heard this crap many times. I slowly went up to 150, slacked on training and eating was back to 135, slowly got up to 145, then slowly up to 155 and 165 when I started trying harder. Then I did a real bulk, really ate and went up to 185 lbs fast and got much much stronger. That was kind of the limit for that point for me ended up cutting and fluctuating for a while at a bit lower weight, hovered in mid 170s because I wasn't eating enough anymore for growth. Of course at my height that was fine, but much bigger now after learning even more.
You can do it, I was always tiny till I did things right. At 5'10" get your LBM up over 180 lbs over the next 7 years, and if you still want to cycle think about it again then.

Recent study tend to agree that naturally its impossible to reach a LBM over 25 of BMI (if fairly lean) Therefore 180lbs of LBM would mean 25.8 of BMI therefore unachievable naturally for him if not a genetik freak.
Of course there is other factor however you set your expectation too high...
If he can get to 170 fairly lean would be a good point to start considering AAS.
P.s.: havent read the studies myself, heard it from a knowledgeable person. And personnaly I find it to make lots of sence.Last edited by qscgugcsq; 03-05-2014 at 03:44 PM.

Visit here mate
NUTRITION RESOURCE FORUM
When I was 18 I only weighed about 140lbs. In my 40's I still have a pretty high metabolism compared to most my age. I'd rather eat less for the same results but I'm stuck with it. I feel uncomfortable at times because I have to eat so much. When my weight sticks I need to eat more. It's not the most comfortable lifestyle if you do it right - pain in the gym and discomfort from eating but it is a lifestyle and you get used to it.
Good luck.NO SOURCES GIVEN

If stuffing your face with food doesn't work, track macros. You're probably not eating enough.
Get myfitnesspal or something like that. Keep adding calories every two weeks, until you start gaining weight.
Keep loading weight on the bar (check out icf 5x5, works very good for me, has you add 5lbs each time).

Go see a nutritionist and get them to design an eating plan for you - it will be the best start for you and get you knowledgeable on how to actually eat for muscle
When you workout focus on all the main compound lifts and lift heavy, push yourself, non of this 20 reps lightweight bull****, Bench, Squat, DeadLift, Squat, Squat, Squat etc
I bet if you posted your daily diet, what when and how much you eat it won't be near enough (you probably don't even know your macros etc)
A lot of guys think they are eating heaps, but when you see the containers of meals on a proper diet to eat per day to put on weight it is a LOT of food to consume
When I do a bulk my wife cringes as our food bill goes up around $200 a week, that is 6+ large meals a day of Rolled Oats, Steak, Chicken, Brown Rice, Eggs, Wholewheat Pasta, Sweet Potatos etc etc all weighted and measured specifically for my weight, literally by the time it comes to every meal - I still feel full from the previous meal and have to force feed the next meal (I found drinking a litre+ of water before going to bed helped stretch my stomach for the next day of meals)
Your test levels will already be at their peak so there is no need for steroids , more than likely you will just screw up your hormone profile and end up unable to have kids, unable to maintain an erection and the possibility if life long testosterone shots to keep you ticking, be patient on this, you will grow naturally and put on size quicker as your metabolism slows down in your 20's
If you do want to add (Non Hormonal) supplements, take a whey protein upon waking up, a casein protein before going to bed, a good multivitamin and some fish oil, done.
If you want to cheat the food situation a bit, add a protein shake to every meal every 2-3 hours so you would average 5-8 shakes per day on top of your meals
Eat, Lift, Sleep, Repeat

Actually nutritionist is the worst person you could see...
Go see a competente personal trainer. They will make you a diet worth talking.
There is no need to add more protein, when bulking at you weight 1g/lbs is way enough to build maximum lbm.
But like I said. I started at 130pounds and even by eating t mintenance I went up to 160 in 2 years(while having low test). So if you train hard enough, no matter how bad is your diet, you should be able to put some muscle.
If you don't eat enough, your endocrine fonction are probably screwed. Eating more will help you in this regard.
Train hard and focusing on compound movement will yield gain.
If you already do that, even if you dont know it, you most cdrtinly have a serious health issue.
So get it fix...

Check out the nutrion forum, bro. You are really young for AAS and could definetly gain weight naturally with the proper knowledge of dieting and and a good workout routine. I strongly suggest taking the advice of the posts before mine. Work hard and stick with it!
Thanks and peace

If you can't gain weight without steroids , you sure as fvck won't with steroids. Steroids will make your metabolism even faster. You just need to eat alot more, plain and simple.

Your problem is your diet. Anyone telling you otherwise, or to see a personal trainer is clueless.
You don't know how to eat, period.
Good luck.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~
