Second cycle planning - quick question about time off

    Hi,

I am just finishing up my first cycle of
    Wk 1-6 dbol at 30 mg/d
    Wk 1-8 300 mg test e e3d, . 25 mg adex eod
    Wk 10-14 40,40,20,20 Ed nolva.

So if I follow what seems to be the most highly recommended method of time on = time off do i start counting down the days from my last pin or from when I finish my pct?

ie: can I start my second cycle 8 weeks from my last pin or 8 weeks from the end of my pct?

Thanks for all the info you guys have provided here.

if you are using the time on plus pct=time off protocol you should be off for 12 weeks before considering cycling again...I take it your not getting blood work done for recovery confirmation...

I'd say it was 14 weeks. That's start of cycle to end of PCT.

But why oh why only run test e for 8 weeks? And where is your HCG ? No clomid in your pct?

I agree. Your first cycle wasn't the greatest. You have a lot to learn before you second cycle.

Also, like stated, you should get some blood work after your PCT to see where you are at.

Yeah, I still have lots of gear left. Thinking about extending until 10 or even 12 weeks. If I do I'll pick up some hcg .

I thought that clomid + nolva was redundant?

Ok, so time on = time off goes from start of cycle until end of pct. Thanks for clearing that up.

If I get blood work done, say, 6 weeks after pct and things are in the normal range does that mean I'm clear to cycle again? Or does the time off still apply?

You need to give your body time to recover. You never got beginning bloodwork so you dont have a reference to see if you indeed fully recovered. Take your time, no need to jump right back on. Your best bet is to extend this one to 12 weeks.

12wks is the norm as the minimum for the enanthate or cypionate ester.

Clomid and Nolva are not redundant. Together they offer a better chance at recovery than each one on its own.

    Yes

No, it means you have recovered which means at he end of the time off period you could cycle again if you desire

Awesome, thanks again for all the info. I'll order a bottle of hcg and clomid.

And run for another 4 weeks.

This may be a dumb question, but what exactly does extending the cycle effect? I mean, if my natural test is already shut down anyway, what difference does it make if I run 8 or 16 weeks? Do the gains diminish or is that just a wives tale? Does it just make it harder to get restarted again? I hear a lot about guys running very long cycles, do they just run a longer pct?

With longer esters the physical changes take longer to manifest bc of longer half lives and slower metabolism of the hormone. You'll notice prop in a couple weeks vs enanthate can take 6wks or so to build up in plasma. If you end the cycle at wk 8 that leaves you 2wks once it 'kicks in'. There's truth to that, the longer you're suppressed the more difficult the recovery unfortunately recovery is never guaranteed even with short cycles. HCG, blood work, waiting sufficient time between blasts etc can all help ensure an easier time recovering.
