well it has happened to people, it isnt a funny thing actually. IF YOU BREAK A NEEDLE YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET IT REMOVED ! and you wont be able to use that muscle group for a week. no one likes to talk about this becuz it isnt something you wanna remmeber. JUST BE CAREFUL ! its hard to break a needle, u would have to inject at like a 45 degree angle and have teh person move...

THey'd have to do more then move to break it.
Try this..Take a pin and stick it in a bar of soap. Move the needle side to side, but do it hard...I bet you can't break it...

That is why you don't stick the pin all the way into your ass! Leave some pin showing in case it breaks away from the syringe. Can't remember where I heard this advice, but I am sure it can be found on this board.

I saw one of these stories last year when I first started researching AS

there were 3 kids (obvisouly young) and they finally lost their fear of injecting and thought of shooting. one boy was really paranoid and really scared of his parents, he took the longest to even agree to AS.

then the day of injection came, first two went fine, but when the paranoid kids turn came he dropped his pants , and there went the needle right up the ass, and this dumbass JUMPED breaking more than half of (i beleive) 1'5" needle in ur cheek.

and I would think that HURT, he was rushed to hospital where he had to get it surgically removed... now what would he tell the doctor and his parents.....?

Me personally dont know anybody who broke a needle

I'm thinking it's bullshit... I have never read a verifiable document illustrating a person breaking off a needle inside themselves. I'm talking about a new fresh needle, not one that has been re-used a hundred times by some junky.

Try Mbaraso's post! Stick it in a bar of soap and try and snap it... now the force that soap will offer is WAY more than a muscle tightening will. I've done this and found the needle will NOT break.

In short - I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The most that will happen is the pin will bend. It would take a lot force for you to break it off.

I never push the needle all the way in just for that reason, I seriously doubt you'll ever "break" a needle, but I could see one possibly becoming detached from the plunger...

My buddy was injecting into his right quad a few weeks ago and hit a nerve. His muscle contracted so much that the needle broke off in his leg. He tried to get it to come out but could not. He went to the emergency room and they were able to get it out w/o surgery. Had me shaking when i hit my quads the last few weeks.

Who made the needle that broke? I bent one to see what happens and it didn't break it just bent.

lol! that is all bullshit. They are designed to go all the way in to you. Leaving some sticking out will give you more room to move it around if your nevervouse or shaky.

You willl not break a needle. Anything your readin on that is BS. I broke a needle once, but it was after I bent it back and forth over 50X!
