    Plans following infection

I have been pinning 500mg test e once a week (3rd pin was this monday). The first pin was into my right glute. I didn't sterilize properly and ended up with what appeared to be cellulitis. Had fever of 101F, glute was very swollen, red and hard. I hopped on antibiotics 5 days later and it cleared up quick. The following Monday I pinned the left glute and ended up with the same symptoms. Both times I experience no symptoms until a day or two later. I kept on the antibiotics and it helped again. After having it occur twice, I thought maybe it was the test i was using, so i used a different source back on my right glute and am experiencing some symptoms. It is a little painful and swollen, very very slightly red but no fever, no sweats and crazy shit. It's not hard like it was before, its stiff but not the spongy hard. Idk if i ****ed up pinning into my right glute again, if the first infection hadnt cleared up before I pinned again. I sterilize the vial, the injection spot, use clean needles, change out the needle after pulling from vial, use new needles everytime. Using a 23g 1.5" needle. I'm not sure why I keep getting these symptoms. Should I try pinning in quad next time? Thank you for your help, I can cut the cycle short if i have to but obviously i'd rather not have to.

You should be rotating between 4-6 spots. Make sure the injection is DEEP. Don't be too eager to jump on antibiotics. In many cases, heat and light massage will break up and disperse the oil. If there is clearly an infection, then it should be evaluated and treated by a licensed HCP.

Often, local pain from injections are the result of shallow/improper injection techniques.
