    First Cycle Help

Hey, Im thinking of running my first cycle after 18 months of browsing these forums and trying to educate myself reading the stickies and I'd love some pointers.

I'm 26 and have been lifting for 2 years properly, running madcow atm as it fits perfectly with my schedule and I ****ing love squatting heavy. I started off 55kg and I'm now at 87kg around 14-16% body fat (could be lower) I don't feel I'm anywhere near as strong as I should be but then again I was pathetically weak when I started. Im thinking of running a Test-E cycle 500mg a week, following one of the newbie cycle posts using 10 mg nolvadex every day and .25 mg arimidex every other day during cycle I was wondering how important is this? The total price of clomid, arimidex and nolvadex is going to be very expensive, I'm leaning towards just spending the money because I'd rather be safe and its just money so just really looking for pointers on the pct side of things.

    PCT will look like this Day 1 300mg Clomid / 20mg Nolva / .25mg L-dex Day 2 - 30 100mg Clomid / 20mg Nolva / .25mg L-dex Day 31 - 37 20mg Nolva / .25mg L-dex, copy pasted from a sticky. Can't get hold of hcg so will that do? I can only get arimidex as 1mg tablets, do I just break them into quarters and take 1/4 every other day?

Diet will be what it currently is, I'll try to squeeze a bit more food in as the weeks progress. I do 3200-3500 cals atm, aim for 200-250g protein and always end up with heaps of fat because I eat a lot of yoghurt, cheese, nuts etc due to 12 hour days and they are just easy to bring along and snack on during times in between meal breaks. Diet normally consists of oats, brown rice, yoghurt, cheese, almonds, WPI, steak, homemeade jerky, chicken, vegies. I've posted some photos, before lifting, 1 month into lifting and then one as of 3 months ago. Any tips would be much appreciated!

I think you should hit up the nutrition forum first. You need to get that part down. You have a lot of room to grow natural before considering any aas. Read the beginner cycle stickys and the pct stickys. Your AI is to reduce circulating estrogen during your cycle and the serms are for pct. Take a look at hcg for on cycle as well. It will help maintain some testicular function during the administration of exogenous testosterone

Thanks for the reply, I know I am nowhere near my natural potential yet. I have held off doing AAS for a long time and I'm ready to commit now, I don't get a lot of time for meal prep and eating on work days (2 20 min breaks in 12 hours!) which explains high fats and my choices of foods. I can't eat seafood and egg if you're wondering why they are missing and I do eat a lot of fruits too. Mostly want to make the jump now for the extra growth and energy boosts as well as I know spending so much money I will have no choice but to commit fully to everything. I don't slack atm but I know spending so much money I'd put every ounce of spare time to use preparing meals and recording everything. I've also come into a way to get proper gear and PCT which is why I'm interested now, I would include HCG but I have no way to get it so I didn't include it.

OP you are not ready to cycle for two reasons. You don't have enough knowledge of the products and you don't have a strong enough base to build on. Nolva is not needed during cycle as long as E2 is controlled with an AI. The PCT you laid out is outdated. 300mg of clomid is over kill and increases the risks of vision side effects. Please follow Jim's advise and read the sticky posts at the top of the forum. You need a strong natty base before cycling in order to help avoid injury. Muscle cells grow much faster than connective tissue. If you don't have a sound foundation of connective tissue before cycling then you increase the risks of tearing a muscle/tendon/ligament. You should lift natty for 3-4 more years.

    I agree with this^

You are too lean, you need to build a solid base and gain naturally. You have a serious diet problem if you cannot gain muscle at this point. Even if you did have more experience under your belt I would still not recommend AAS to you for the simple fact that you cannot self-motivate. It should not take spending hundreds on AAS to get you to be fully committed to diet and training.

I'm gonna trust you here, I thought this might be the case regarding PCT hence the questions about it. I'll continue to bulk and increase my foundation further. I do and have read most of the stickies btw, I'll possibly just get hold of the gear and hold off until I'm ready. I have no problems gaining weight anymore, I've been back on a bulk for 4 months and have gained 8kg aiming for a 500 cal surplus Also I have no self motivation problems, I don't need gear to motivate its just an extra push, I haven't missed a session in 8 months, I have gained 32kg's since starting lifting and have done my best to constantly learn more and eat right.

It's great to hear that you will continue to educate yourself and build naturally. While they don't do much for muscle growth, forced negatives are helpful with strengthening connective tissue.
