calories with test and deca
hey this is my first cycle, got my pct all planned out but I was just wondering if I should consider more calories than I used to when natural ? I used to consider 2500. Should I get more calories since on cycle ? I will be using
Deca durabolan - 400mg per week for 8 weeks
Sustanon 250 OR Testaviron depot - 500mg per week for 8 weeks
I weigh 158

Basically eat as much as possible.
On my last cycle, I was forcing down 6500 Calories per day and 80 units of insulin and I still wasn't gaining as fast as I wanted to. It is literally almost impossible to gain fat on cycle (unless you're shooting slin).
Minimum 4000 Calories.

I always get nervous when I see calories being thrown around like a piece of meat. Calories is a terrible way to track nutrition. There was a report I read where a team of special forces was on tour eating 1800 calories a day and working round the clock. They were actually gaining weight. The report broke down their food into grams rather than calories. The point of the report was that if proper nutrition is supplied to the body the body can continue to function at peak performance even if the total calories below TDEE.

^^^ I agree. There are lots of factors for an individual diet. Not to mention what goals are.

Well, this thread has a lot to ingest. I am not going to sit here and say I believe Scotch concerning the SF study unless I see the results. However, I can say that without him giving any details I can still vouch for the premise behind his statement and I think this premise should be the take-home message of this thread.
That premise is that it is not just about how many calories you can shove down your throat a day on cycle. The truth is that you can get fat on cycle, very fat. The highest BF% I have ever had was when I tried just eating everything I could on a cycle. Yes, I did gain muscle but you couldn't see hardly any definition.
So what you should be focusing on OP is not how many calories you can eat, but how many calories you need. Go to the diet section, calculate your TDEE, and figure out what macro split you want to try first then stick to it. Times Roman just started a great thread on protein consumption in the diet section that would be a great place to start.
The last thing you need to do right now is cycle, your profile says you are 19 which seems to at least be accurate as of March of this year. You need to go to the diet section and learn how to eat. I understand you are only 5'5'' and that is unfortunate but 158lbs is still fairly light, even at 5'5''. That is not the weight you should be when you cycle. In a few years you could definitely gain a lot more weight naturally.
