    Interested in trying pro hormones

I've been lifting for a while now (6 months) and I am making great progress. My diet is good and my training routine is basically PPL with progressive overload. I am a healthy individual with no health problems. I do not have a history of drug or alcohol abuse. I understand the endocrine system is very complex and that indeed to follow strict and careful direction for my dosage and cycle time. I have never experimented with steroids before. I am 5'11" 180lb with around 13% bf. I'm only interested in items I can legally buy at the store without an Rx in Canada.

I've heard of anavar and that if you stick to 20mg a day you will be fine? I simply want to enhance my growth I do not expect steroids to do all of the work for me.

Do some reading and searching in this forum. You will find there are a LOT of people who end up with long lasting undesirable sides such as ED, depression and others.

You really want to stay away from any type of supplement except maybe one protein powder drink a day. Your body is only now just starting to get use to the new routine of going to the gym. It's a bad idea to try to increase your gains for the first 2-3 years. You really need to stay natural and build a good base as well as knowledge before considering any type of aas use. Forget the pro hormone route.

Also at your age you are at risk of messing up your HPTA. It sounds like you are already fighting a battle with your past so dont go adding more problems.

way back in the day when I first started lifting I saw my first year I was increasing in size and strength every 3 months, stick it out a little bit longer in my opinion untill you feel you are truly educated and ready for things like this, You can get amazing results naturally in the first 2/3 years of lifting. Stick at it bud,

Great job on getting to the gym
6 months is just a drop in the bucket. Try 35 years.
Pro hormones that you can buy legally at the store are more hazardous to your health than the real thing.

You are clearly no where near that use and it time to get some years under your belt before even thinking of adding anything.

Ok sounds good guys. I didn't know that the legal hormones you can buy at the store are worse for you than the real thing. How the fuk does that even make sense? Why would legislators ban effective and relatively safe steroids while allowing less effect and less safe steroids to be sold in stores?

And just curious for the first guy who posted by why does it sound like I'm battling with my past? Did you read the part where it says "i do not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse" as "I have a history of drug and alcohol abuse"

Guyman, let me get this right... You're 19, you've been going to the gym for 6 months and now you think you're ready for steroids /prohormones?

First and foremost you're 19..... Let your body finish developing. You've still got a ways to go before your HPTA fully matures. Hell you're not even done growing at 19. Even if you don't get any taller, you still fill out in you're early 20's.

Now I don't care if you're 40 years old, 6 months in the gym is NOT a good solid foundation and it's definitely not enough to make you ready to "juice." Your muscles, tendons and ligaments are NOT ready for it.

Here's what I suggest: You may think your diet is good, but I bet it's not that good. You know there are guys your height that are over 200lbs, lean and natural? So work on your diet more. Learn what works for you and makes you grow. Also work on your training. Give yourself a good 6 years of this and then come back if you still want to mess with hormones.

Believe it or not, there is a very good chance a year or two down the road that you might not even workout at all anymore. Do you want to risk your health over the chance of muscle that you might not even keep for very long? There are tons of kids that come on here about your age complaining that they did a cycle and their dicks don't work anymore. Think about that.

6 months may seem like a long time of lifting but in the grand scheme of things it isn't. Personally I believe one should wait until maximum natural potential is reached before enhancing. Keep at it man.

Thanks guys for the help. Lots of useful insight ITT. It's cool to see people on a steroid forum actually advising against the use of steroids for someone like me who would not benefit or is not ready for a steroid cycle. Very responsible. I thought maybe there was something I could take to simply grow faster but not at an explosive exponential rate. But from reading I think it's just not worth it to mess with my endocrine system at this time and possibly forfeit my health.

That's what this site focuses on, health and what works instead of just an idea. Most of it has been learned the hard way and want to help others from repeating the same mistakes.

Every once in a while we get someone like yourself who listens and it's reassuring.
