    Realistic?

Going into my first cycle (test only)

Currently 17% BF. Is the goal to put on size and drop to 15% BF realistic?

I would drop your bf down to around 15% or under before cycling IMHO it would be a far better approach. Cycling at higher end of your bf will risk an increased in sides so drop the bf down first then springboard into your cycle which will reap better and bigger gains without the added risk of further sides due to the higher bf levels.

Excellent advise! He is basically outlining priming to you. Check out the stickies and look into priming before the cycle that he wrote, very informative.

Anyone able to tell me from experience approx how many pounds 2% loss in bf equals?

Just a guess to help me set up my meal plan.

How much do you weigh? For every 100 pounds, 2% equals two pounds. If you weigh 200 lbs with 17% bf and want to drop to 15% you have to lose 4 pounds of fat. Or, if you weigh 190, for example, take 190 x .02, which equals 3.8. Which means you have to lose 3.8 pounds of fat to lose 2% body fat.

No problem buddy. It is always best to ask when in doubt. But when talking about bf% it is simply a percentage of your total weight. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure I can lose 4# to achieve 15% and get primed by simply cutting cereal out of my diet, that however is heartbreaking to me!!
