    Question Diagnostic urine strips!?

    My bb'ing buddy says that he uses these strips that you urinate on to tell if you are in an anabolic state. I have never heard of these. Can someone inform me. Do they work well?

    Is this just the same thing as 'chemstrips' and all you do is urinate on these strips and then monitor your level of protein?

    Is he talking about keto strips? I believe they can decipher if you are in a state of ketosis, burning fat for energy.

    He said anabolic state....he's OOT for a bit too so I can't just ask him. IMO I think he's talking about the strips that can determine your protein level. If the color shows a lower level that wanted I guess you would consume more protein. I don't f'ing know.

    No matter how much protein you take, you shouldn't spill it in your urine. I'm not sure what these strips would look for.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but don't pregnancy tests detect Growth Hormone ?
