Can an HIV blood test detect steroids
As my annual HIV blood draw.
Does anyone know what an HIV blood test looks for and if it can indicate potential steroid use ?
I know my bloods for my test cycle only showed high test, mid E2 and the two parts indicating natural production were Low.
Everything else on the blood test was normal, so I am doubtful these HIV tests pic up anything but wanted to check.

No, they are testing for HIV specifically.

No. A PCR test will only test if the HIV antigen is present in your blood. An ELISA/Western Blot will test to see if your body has created antibodies to fight the antigen. Nothing more; nothing less.
