    Looking to get cut

    I'm 5' 11.5 245 lbs 37 years old and considering my first cycle. I have been power lifting in the 242 lb category for fun and would like to get cut and lean out. My ideal weight would be 195 lbs . I have the muscle mass and frame to have a nice physic and if I'm going to do this I want to do it right. What would everyone recommend for a heavier set male starting out?

    As its your first cycle;
    Test 500mg a week for 12 weeks

    Diet will dictate your cut, not a particular compound
    What is your body-fat % like?

    Have a read of this:

    If you think your ideal weight would be 195 lbs., then I only have to assume that, at 245 lbs., you're carrying quite a bit of fat. If this is the case, I would recommend you go on a cut without the use of AAS. Once you get down to around 15-16% bf, then AAS could benefit you by helping you hold onto muscle tissue as you continue your cut. The potential sides will outweigh the benefits if cycling at a high body fat.

    I'm around 27% BF currently and I have gotten down to 21 % in the last couple years. I really just want to lean out because I'm finding as I get older its harder to loose the weight. If I do Test 500 MG for 12 weeks would I need anything else like a PCT? And also what kind of Test do you recommend? I have attached a pic so you can see what kind of body type I haveLooking to get cut-crossfit-1.jpg

    So cycling on high body fat is no good then? In other words do it natural. I'm pretty sure I've messed up my metabolism in the last few years by not eating enough and when I do not enough.

    If you cycle at your current bodyfat you have a much higher chance of being on the receiving end of bad sides, estrogen conversion goes up and so does your chance of getting the likes of gyno

    You want to clean your diet up and do a lot of cardio, high intensity weight training.

    Cant really judge your bodyfat by that pic as you have a shirt on.

    What is your truthful daily diet?

    Truthfully I'm vegan but like allot a bread and carbs. I know I don't eat enough probably around 900 -1000 cal a day. Lots of fruit and vegan protein shakes from Plant Fusion.

    Never came across a vegan bodybuilder myself so cant really add to the advice ive been given you

    If your just looking to lose fat then just diet and exercise, you dont need to be in the steroid game imo
    If you are wanting to add muscle then 900-1000 calories is no where near enough to grow

    Wow man gear is not going to fix ur problem. A good diet will make everything better. Don't think about gear especially at ur bf%. I personally won't cycle if I was over 15%. The side effect will hit u like a ton of bricks. Go over to the nutrition section. Those boys will help u out with ur meal planning.
