shouldn't we make gains during pct?
Well I mean near the end of pct and the few weeks after our t would be around 30-40% higher than baseline. So should't we make gains easier during this time?

If gains came from T being 30%-40% from baseline, everyone would be a 300lbs monster.
Reality is that gains are hard to get after a while, just by being on juice does not mean you will get gains automatically.

when i say gains in this thread i just mean progress, even slight mass and stregth gains. it seems the general idea is that u you can't make any gains during pct but i was wondering by the end of pct and after u should be higher than baseline natty test so why wouldn't one make gains?

No you won't unless 30-40% above baseline is more the your actual cycle dosage.

The logic here is accurate, you can possibly still make gains as your levels are still elevated. For that matter, one can make gains without elevated Test levels as well. The question becomes one of timing, which is what Mr. BB meant. As with height in childhood, growth occurs in spurts, and if you finished a good and productive cycle the 'spurt school of thought' says you're done, especially with declining (relatively speaking from max dosage) Test levels.

You can make muscle gains with your balls chopped off I suppose [My dog and steers have a lot of muscle]. My experience is after coming off cycle strength cannot be maintained, yet mass is somewhat easier--but all the water weight will drop. Vascularity and hardness wane as well.

lol, ye my pit had his t chopped off but he didn't seem to lose any mass and in fact looks bigger since.
But i forgot to mention what if someone didn't reach their natty potential, could gains be made during pct? (my question is more of a science question as to weather the pct meds inhibit muscle growth?) I know nov lowers IGF but if one hasn't reach their natty potential and after a few weeks on pct and afterwards wouldn't it make sense that they would be able to make gains? I ask because i'm a noob and it seems from the threads i read you will only lose gains during pct

No, because they are coming down from a supraphysiological state. So they're losing all that added strength, vascularity, and glycogen retention that androgens bring. Also, T levels alone don't mean much (especially not when dealing with anything near the normal range), since we tend to suffer lethargy, insomnia, and a lack of appetite during PCT. Sleep and food are important.

I hit a few strength PRs during PCT. Right before I started PCT I was beginning to feel rough, but once I started the nolva/clomid, I felt better. Once PCT was over I felt completely normal in every aspect.
I just kept training and eating as normal and found that my training was still great. Obviously not mid cycle Amazing, but run of the mill good training.

I dont think its possible to surpass your max on a cycle compared to PCT. The only way I see making gains is if you didnt truly reach your max during peak cycle and then decided to push yourself extremely hard during PCT I guess I could compare it to a car on NOS and then the car trying to go as fast just as the NOS was depleted.
