    Mid cycle bloods

Mid cycle bloods came back and my estradiol was 47.6pg/ml, which is high. Now my question is about lowering it without crashing it. How should I adjust my dosage of arimidex ? I am currently taking test prop 150mg/eod and arimidex .25g Eod.

Test total was 3570.2 mg/dl in case anybody was wondering.

Everything in the cmp came back normal.

    The range is 8.0 - 35.0pg/ml

I haven't had many sides except a little acne and a little fatigue at times. I think water retention is on the normal side. I did have some sexual sides but that seems to come and go.

I feel like i could sleep a lot more. If i don't get a full 8 I'm pretty tired, whereas before i could get by on 6.

Also, sex has been so so at times. At times i would get going and then just fizzle out and not finish.

Actually to add to that my bp was pretty high last week... Im sure that had to do with my estrogen and water retention.

Your e2 isn't that elevated, but if you're feeling off that's not a good sign.

Two possible courses that I can think of are taking 50-75mg/D of zinc or taking 0.5mg of dex every three days.

    Is your dex pharmacy grade?

All this is assuming the reading is accurate since it appears to be standard estradiol.

I thought 8-35pg/ml was the reference range for sensitive estradiol from labcorp.

    Dex is pharma grade.

Okay, using a pharmacy grade AI will give you a good baseline for future cycles.

E2 is something that you'll always need to be conscious of especially when using different doses/compounds.

Right now you're taking 0.875mg/week of dex.

If you change the dose to 0.5mg every three days you'll be taking 1.6g/week, which is 33% more.

It's possible that the zinc dose mentioned above will be enough to make you feel normal again.

Honing in E2 is mostly trial and error and I don't think either method is necessarily better without seeing bw.

After about two weeks of changing AI protocol you should recheck E2.

I know labs can get expensive but if all your other numbers were in range then you only need E2 tested.

If you're in the states discounted labs dot com has a sensitive estradiol assay for $48.

Lowering E2 without crashing = Aromasin

From what is published Aromasin is a "percent" of Estrogen killer (save the scientific babble). You would have to do something stupid like ingest a gram to push your E2 to crash level and even then it is not likely. Austinite has a post somewhere about this but too lazy to go find it.
