    Pain on shoulder during cycle

    started to get shoulder pains, my split included chest/back/off/ shoulder/legs and repeat, I should've taken an off day after legs to rest my shoulders a bit more, having some pain in shoulder but not too bad. I heard you don't feel the extend of the damage on a cycle so I'm wondering if the pain is being masked and the damage is worse than I fear. Any thoughts on pain during cycle??

    You dont train your arms??

    Could say the same about the legs, how can anyone train legs and shoulders...

    You probably need to reduce the amount of press movements, incline barbel bench press is particularly hard on the rotator cuff.

    To answer your question regarding pain in the shoulder;
    AAS doesn't mask pain to a dangerous degree, but the increased motivation/aggressiveness in the gym may lead you to overload it or don't listen to the pain.

    Stop doing movements that hurt,
    keep training, but every press excersize should be done with less weight.
    If you focus on very strict and slow movement you should be able to cut the weight 50% and still only do 8 reps.
    Aim for very controlled movement, without pain, and less weight.
    The AAS should help you heal faster if you do it right.

    Since the tendons in the shoulder are so close to the skin,
    using alternating hot/cold water on it in the shower can actually help.
    (It improves nutrient supply to the joints)
