HCG injections
Hello guys, I have to ask you an advice rgarding HCG dosage and injections.
I have a vial of 5000 iu to be dissolved in 1 ml of solution.
I use thin insulin syringes, which have a maximum capacity of 1 ml.
To obtain 250 iu (for a single injection) I should fill 1/20 of syringe, which is very short and imprecise.. What do you recommend?
Do exist syringes smaller for sample of 500 ml total so that I can fill to 1/10?
last year I did not have this problem because I got HCG 1000 iu x 1 ml, so I had to fill the syringe for 1/4 and it was more comfortable!

1/20 of a 1ml insulin syringe is 5 units.
Although this is a small amount it's doable with a 1ml insulin syringe.
Yes, there are insulin syringes available that hold less volume.
5 units on a 0.5ml insulin syringe will be 1/10 full.
I you use 2ml of back water to reconstitute your 5000IU of hcg then 250IU will be 10 units or 1/10 of a 1ml syringe.Last edited by numbere; 11-06-2016 at 07:07 AM. Reason: More elaborate detail

Ok, then I'll have to get a smaller syringe or alternatively 1 ml of back water (so that I can reconstitute in 2 ml instead of 1 ml) ...
But can I find 1ml of back water in legal pharmacy?

You don't necessarily need to get different syringes or more bac water.
You're capable of pinning 5 units with a 1ml insulin syringe.
I pinned 5 units with a 1ml insulin syringe yesterday morning.
To be honest I'm not sure if you can but 1ml of bac water at a pharmacy.
I order my bac water 20ml at a time from bacteriostatic water dot com.Last edited by numbere; 11-06-2016 at 07:16 AM.

It just all depends on how you reconstitute it. You have 5,000 iu regardless of the volume of bac water you use. For instance you could reconstitute it with 10 cc of bac water then each cc would represent 500 iu. Or 1 cc of bac water then one tenth of the cc of water represents 500 iu

I'm not familiar with that type of insulin syringe.
It seems strange to me that the scale is so imprecise because a diabetic would need to be accurate with their insulin.

Each line on you insulin will represent 500 iu if you reconstitute with one cc of water

That's a good point B.
Talk about a horrible design flaw.
Insulin isn't quite as expensive as gh but it's not what I would consider cheap either.

Ok guys, I think I will get more back water and I will dissolve it in 2 ml, it seems the most effective solution.
I believe that I will find the vials in a legal pharmacy or on the web.

I shoot for 250 iu every 3.5 days so 500iu per wk. 5000iu amp diluted with 2 ml of bac water so 1/10 ml. My pins are 3/10ths. Works great precise delivery. I also like how small they are. I can walk right past my kids to the bathroom fisting the syringe and vial.

You really want to use bac water as the hcg mixed with bac water and stored properly will not start to loose potency for 90 days were solvent is meant for one time use

You have 0.9% sodium chloride water.
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water and 0.9% benzyl alcohol.
You can add BA to the NaCl water to make bac water.
Imo just buy 10-20ml of bac water and some new slin pins online.
You should be able to get both of those products for around $30.
