First Cycle - bloat and upset stomach

I am running my first cycle, test enanthate only 500mg a week (250 tues morning and Friday night). I didn't originally start out with Adex as I have heard mixed reviews. I am now 2 and a half weeks in and have had terrible bloating the last 3 days and a highly upset stomach. The bloating I understand is because I did not take the adex. I have Liquidex on the way and will start with .25mg a day and bump to .5mg if needed. However, is the upset stomach related as well or just my luck! Thanks

Assuming your gear is legit, I can't think of a connection between upset gut and your cycle. Hopefully it's a temporary thing associated with some other cause.

Watch your adex dosage. Most use .25 mg eod when running your amount of test--you don't want to crash your E2. Blood work is the only reliable way to manage estrogen levels. Start with a moderate dose and increase if needed. I recommend getting bw soon.

If you haven't already done so, you should read the sticky on managing your first cycle--lots of important information there. You'll want to make sure you have all the ancillaries you'll need on hand, especially for pct and you should consider using HCG during your cycle.

    Good luck

What Magnum said. Re-read the Successful First Cycle thread and follow it.

Some people get Test flu. Do you have pct on hand? Hcg ? This is why you never start until you have everything on hand.

I have Nolva and Clomid for PCT, will refer to Austinite's post for usual dosage... And as far as the adex, .25 EOD was standard for pill form, I thought if you use liquidex from an RCL it was .25 ED. I will adjust
accordingly. Had bloodwork done up front, will again around the 6-8 week mark... And HCG has proved to be much harder to get. From the few buddies I have my age that ran cycles, none had any issues with kick starting or re-starting their testes after a test only cycle, so i was gonna leave it out....

I'm confused to why you would take twice as much liquid ai vs pill form. The dose should be the dose.

hmmm, I assumed maybe becuse the RCL liquid form isn't pharmacuetical grade? I was searching around multiple forums on the liquidex... Maybe the 2 I stumbled upon said .25 ED due to higher dosages of test and other compounds. I will stick with the .25 EOD and see how the bloat feels and modify from there if needed, until I do bloodwork at 6-8 weeks. I did some research on "test flu" and sounds about like what I have. Since my first pin 2 and a half weeks ago, I noticed my energy has been much much lower. Harder to get up in the morning and groggy for the first few hours of the day. Going to try and up my Vitamin C and Zinc for a week and see if that helps pass it. Also, I have NAC 600mg i have been taking in the morning

Well the stomach issue has now spread to wife, my son and the 3 week old baby... Safe to assume it was a bug that i caught and passed on to everyone

Gonna be the roughest and toughest baby in town! -- haha -- no. I was referencing a possible stomach bug or other issue causing the bubble gut as suggested by Magnum earlier on. Must be an intestinal flu that I caught elsewhere.

So the upset stomach has become sever. 5 days with no letting up after a script for Lomotil from my doctor. I am going to go to the immediate care center due to the amount of pain from my rear end and soreness as it's never ending... Should I tell the doc at immediat/urgent care that I'm on a test only cycle? I believe its something viral in my belly but you never know. Thoughts? Opinions?

I live in the Chicago area where a strain of stomach flu is pretty rampant right now. What you're describing sounds like what others here are experiencing. If so, probably not too much a doc can do but ensure that you keep hydrated and minimize your symptoms. If that's what you have, it seems to be a nasty bug--I sympathize.

Regarding your cycle, I personally wouldn't disclose that you're using gear. The medical community generally jumps immediately to condemnation without good reasons. Your 500 mgs of Test and moderate dosage of AI shouldn't be a factor influencing your GI troubles. The only thing you might have to explain is elevated blood pressure and possibly higher than normal Hemocrit levels. The few times I've needed medical attention while on cycle, I simply explained that those elevated numbers were typical for me and my personal physician and I were working on the issue.

    Hope things resolve soon.

I am 40 minutes south of Chicago. I'm sure thats the bug! Went to the immediate care center and doc didn't ask or anything so I didn't say i was on testosterone . He gave me a script for Flagyl (antibiotic) and Metoclopramide. Hopefully I'll be better soon!
