how much oilbased steroids are affected by light?
Hello!
Does anyone know for sure how much oilbased steroids can handle light before it affect its effiency? Lets say I forgot bottle of testosterone in my bedroom table an it lays there one month. Little lamp light here and there but not that much is this test useless?

We are worried about sunlight here for the most part.
Yes, the spectrum of white light from a ordninary bulb isn't perfect storage conditions either, but sunlight is what you should really avoid.
(You know UV radiation can tan you, so you can imagine it has the potential to alter chemical bonds and molecules)
To exactly what degree I don't know.
You'll have to to an experiment and put a known amount in sunlight and re test it day to day to check for loss. Might be something on pubmed,
but there's a lot of variables here;
Where in the world, season; brightness of sunlight
Hours of sunlight each day, etc
Just don't store it in sunlight, or any light for that matter.

Oh, and remember that the oil in itself doesn't tolerate sunlight either.
It "turns", becomes harsh.

Which just made me remember I've used an amp that had expired 5-6 years ago and the oil was a bit harsh, still worked fine.
(Not recommended, there were some mitigating circumstances)
So any loss of potency wasn't enough for me to notice at least.

Where does it say keep them in the dark? Direct sunlight I suppose could effect it a little over a long period of time, but it's not going to effect it much if it's sitting on the night stand or anything. Mine is stored on my vanity. The only thing I could see happening, if anything, might be the hormone falling out of solution. To fix that all that needs to be done is to apply a little heat. I'm not saying store it in a window seal or anything, but it's something I think you're worried too much about.

I have terrarium and inside it is uv-lamb. I keep my steroids under this terrarium in a box. Does the uv radiation stop in the table or cannit go trought glass and table?

the UVA and UVB rays are what they're trying to protect the steroids from when they say keep out of direct sunlight if those far ends of the spectrum were cut off from light they wouldn't be affected by it like a normal incandescent light or the like hardly has any UVA and UVB but the purposely expose them to this light that is what destroys things
