Low Dose Caber Long Term
I have taken a very low dose of Caber at .25mg 2x per week for some time. I love it....it works great for my libido and my ED and I can have sex a lot more often than I could without it.
I am curious what the long term side effects could be with taking such a low dose?
I have read some horror stories regarding caber and some of it's potential side effects but these are all from situations of people taking 1mg-5mg+ a day!!! That is obviously a lot different from what I am doing
Is taking .25mg twice a week long term really that dangerous? Should I take breaks to let it clear my system? If so, how long of a break?

Sides are dose dependent if it does that much for you I'd keep taking it, eventually you could get a chest CT to check for fibrosis, but it's rather unlikely at that dose as well as CV complications ( valvular disease)
I'm on .25 e3d long term cause of high prolactin and yge the only side I'm experiencing is constipation, I'm lucky if I hit the WC two times a week.

Parkinson's patients use high dose for long term and handle it well. My great grandmother was on a similar drug at a high dose for 40 years. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's prescribed at 6-10mgs daily for many. I'm a prami guy for the reasons you speak of and I'm not going to give it up.

What I am worried about is: Dopamine Agonist Withdrawal Syndrome (DAWS) which is associated with long term use of DAs but all of the reports I have read are from people taking large daily doses for years....but I don't want any permanent withdrawal, dopamine, brain function problems.
I plan on taking it long term but if I want to come off in a year or so I don't want any of those issues or HAVE to use the stuff for the rest of my life

I'm scripted Caber at .5 x 3 per week. My doc always over-writes me. I run .25 x 2 pw and basically have for years. I've taken a few breaks from it with zero issues. Agree with the guys above, it's a very low dose and sides as well as long term issues are dose dependent. It can impact IGF-1 levels slightly though.

Caber is weak compared to prami for me. Keep in mind that is my experience. Caber does better for some. It does very little for me, while prami makes me a pornstar (in my head lol). Bromo makes me nauseous.
As far as the other question. I think you'll be fine if you come off. If your prolactin is out of whack, it'll stabilize.
