    Another seccessful cycle

ahh the bitter end of a cycle (8 weeks and 2,000mg later). Did my last injection of tren A yesterday, now back to HRT doses of test cyp. I have been doing low dose (50mg EOD) tren A cycles, always with the goal to just cut and get leaner. I have slowly been getting bigger over the past 5 years since starting HRT and cycling (5'10 205 now at 217) and still around 14-16% bf. I did something different this time and feel that I may have actually gained some mass when I wasn't expecting to. Due to my age, joints getting older, and the fact that I am over-all pretty satisfied with my build, I did high reps most of this cycle. I didn't notice the huge strength difference because I wasn't lifting heavy. Yes the amount of weight it took to go to failure between 14-18 reps increased over the 8 weeks, but not like taking your bench from 275 for 10 to 325 for 10.
I may have to do a few heavy lifts this week just to see if my strength is up significantly. I often worry that the more I cycle the more tren I will need to do the same job. Although it was a successful cycle and I feel I cut pretty good and look way bigger and leaner, I did have a new side effect this time that I never had before, severe muscle cramps. My fluid intake was good. I first tried potassium and that helped but didn't get rid of the cramps. Then I tried magnesium and it seems to be working!
Anyway, just my story, I hate ending a cycle and knowing that I go back to just being human again till late summer, probably run another the end of July.

Hey rhoag, let me know how the high reps work for your strength. I am just back into some training and getting ready for cycle- been out of the mix for quite some time after back surgery. So have some xtra lbs and bf to get rid of myself, but i have a friend that trains that way-usually does high reps, has some increase in weight over time, then takes one week maybe every 2 months and does higher weight. Swears it works great for him. Curious how it works out for you. I just got back to the gym a week or so ago, so still trying to get a normal schedule together.
Also, i was having the same prob with cramps, added magnesium/zinc, and a couple grams a day of taurine, seemed to handle it pretty well

Higher reps can = more volume. More volume can then = growth when coupled with sound nutrition, training and rest.
Have you been monitoring your HDL level since you've been running tren cycles?

Isn't being on cycle just wonderful? I feel like superman. I was on a Test(300mg/wk)/Tren(100mg/wk)/Mast(100mg/wk) when I took my avatar. Stick with your diet until your next cycle and you can pick up where you left off. Congrats on your successful cycle.

Hey at least you're on HRT though... I'm still one of those cycle and pct guys... I hate coming off cycle then pct, then back to natty training and diet. Hate itttttttt!!!!! After this cycle I'm going to be talking to a few different docs inquiring about TRT. I feel so high on life when on, but off I feel like a whiney school girl who lost her stuffed bunny.

    Congrats on the successful cycle!

    Kelkel,
Yes I get full labs twice a year. I have a pretty good set-up! Since I was in the Navy 21 years I am in the VA system and do an annual physical with full labs. Then I have my primary care doc that pretty much lets me play doc. So I get a physical and full labs from her once a year. So i space these 6 months apart. I don't remember the exact numbers last time I did labs in November, but I was surprised because my HDL had increased and LDL decreased. I think it was HDL 57 LDL 136 total 180ish. Which is about normal for me. Like we have discussed before it's my hemoglobin that I worry the most about. I had my estrodial checked two days ago because it was at 57 when I started this cycle (>41) and it's down to 39 now, but I feel best around 25-30. I wish I could do labs once a week and keep the numbers perfect. Lets invent some home use test kits and make our millions! Wouldn't it be great if you could just poke a finger and know what your test, estrogen, hdl, ldl etc etc is in just minutes.

    Dannybox,
I did do a strength test the other day using bench as the bench mark. I feel I gained more strength in previous cycles when I lifted heavy. I was able to do 325 for 5. Previous cycles at the end I would have been able to do more reps. But, I feel I achieved what I wanted because I have a certain look the I want. I'm vain yes I am! But other than lower back (arthritis) my joints feel great, no pulled muscles, no tendinitis, and I feel good. Looking forward to my next cycle.
