They can and will strip search you.
X-ray? No, why when they just open it all up and search everything?
Rip the car apart? Yes, of course they do sometimes, sometimes they don't, just do a very thorough search of the vehicle.

9 times out of 10 if you are unlucky enough to get sent to secondary they will find your stash. They can miss things SOMETIMES, it's somewhat rare.

the xray is located at the entrance on the way as u enter secondary inspection at the tijuana border. the xray all cars that go thru there especially the dash. they first will ask u to step out of ure car and they will begin to search ure car. if then they are still suspicious they will search ure person. if nothign is found in both searches u will be let go. they have the right to rip ure car apart and if given reason to they will. just like g child say if ure sent to secoundary there eventually gonna find ure stash.
