Canadians - any issues through Canada Post/Customs on ordering?

I see a fair number of US members here having issues with DEA seizures and receiving letters of forfeiture etc when using post.

Can any Canadians comment about this issue north of the border? Have you had seizures or any repercussions from mailed AAS's?

Are you asking about ordering domestic or international as those are two completely different.

Not to be greedy but I'd be interested in hearing about both domestic and international... I would imagine domestic is much simpler.

There is zero reason to purchase international.

Good to know, kind of confirming what I'd already suspected.

I had read on a ugl website that its illegal to open domestic mail sent via Canada post by anyone other than the intended recipient. Any truth to that?

I've heard that too just in general... not sure how much truth there is behind it.

I don’t know about other countries and getting your gear dosmestic but I can say it’s a more dire bet to get international for us. Most domestic sources are greedy, cooking out of their toilet or just straight making bunk product. Unfortunately int. Is the way to go. I’d have no problem with it but with where our country is at these days, it sucks with customs.
As I see it if you aren’t ordering in crazy box bulk or kilos of raws, we don’t have much to worry about.
Of you live in Canada. No point in ordering from the us. You have some good sources within Canada and if not , order int.

Canadian customs, for whatever reason is near bulletproof. Many international sources will not ship to Canada, or reship it the case of a seized order for this reason. Might be best to stick with Canadian sources.

Again, like I previously said there is zero reason to order internationally - all it does it put yourself in danger and whoever the sender is. Canadian Customs is Fort Knox and has one of the highest seizure rates on international parcels. I would also never buy off a website in Canada.

In terms of of domestic - Any mail courier reserves the right to inspect your parcel if there is reasonable suspicion of illegal goods. The reputable Labs in Canada have very explicit shipping instructions so less wearing a Tinfoil hat domestic shouldn't really be of a concern.

Thanks everyone for their input here, especially Windex who helped clear up my questions (pun intended).
