What type of results can I expect on 150 mg TRT for my body type?

I wish I could just start my TRT and stfu with the questions but it's taking so long to get the crap. It's been over 3 weeks since I ordered. Anyway, this is my current physique. Currently 249 lbs/ 6'2". I gained a bit of weight I think due to starting creatine and eating more in general, doing deadlifts, etc.

My pre TRT levels are currently 471 ng/dl and have been for a long time if I am to guess. If I start my 150 mg/week protocol on Test C, what do you think I'll be able to achieve (given consistent workouts, a slight caloric deficit to lose fat, good rest, etc. ?? Say 6 month timeframe.

    Hey TM,

Not much. I had below 400 the only thing I noticed was improved sleep,no morning fogginess, no need for 9h sleep, a very gradual increase in energy throughout the day over the months. I had already trained naturally for over a decade and improved extremely slow but TRT didn't change that. Libido was fine before so no improvement there. I don't regret going on TRT one bit, I am on nebido and only need to inject once every 12 weeks.

There is another guy one the forum who had 59 (!) ng/dl. He went on TRT and gained like 200lbs on his total or something in a couple months. Though 59 is a serious deficiency.

lol well that's not good! I was hoping at the very least I can shed 15-20 lbs and still maintain musculature... Although to be honest, I'm slightly more interested in the mental effects (improved concentration, better mood, confidence). I guess this too will be a mild improvement?

I ran around 300-350 when I was on the gel and had to drop it before I changed endos so my levels were low.
I was on cycle and stopped around 4-5 weeks before blood work and had a test level of 40.
I am on 200 mg a week that is putting me around that 600 mark.

I definitely feel better mentally and physically at 600 over the way I felt at 300, strength is a little better but nothing compared to being on cycle.

Agreed with the above. TRT gives an improvement to QOL but it's no miracle drug or holy grail (hGH is much closer to being that). Judging by your picture you'll get a pretty marginal benefit from a bodybuilding perspective. Your picture is indicative you are already capable of building lean muscle which is apparent in the chest and traps.

Just keep in mind there's a lot at play when it comes to a persons physique. Test is priority numero uno but it's not the only component factor. Your test levels may be "low" but I would guess some of your other biological systems (ie - digestion+nutrient partitioning) would be "above average" which is why you are are able to achieve a considerable physique given "low" T.

I am assuming you got your blood checked the day before injection? 600 is not bad for a trough, maybe not great for peak. You pin twice a week?

My BW revealed higher than normal IGF levels (around 330 on a scale of 80-240). Maybe that'll be my natty HGH and combined with test it wont take as many mgs to feel good and look good.

I agree that your levels aren't really THAT low... I'm not saying I would be happy at 471 cause I wouldn't be lol as I'm on trt myself so I can cruise in the 600-700 zone... That's what I was in my 20's naturally so I wanted to get back there..

Keep in mind that there's another entire component to trt, and that is the management of your other key hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, prolactin, and DHEA. The synergy and balance of all these hormones is the real key to feeling good, and a good doc will know that and approach your hrt protocol with that in mind.

If you just start injecting 150mg of test per week on your own I think your results will be very limited. It will benefit you immensely to take a look at the whole picture of what's going on in your body. Our bodies likes ratios so if taking exo hormones we need to control those ratios artificially which is very important for overall health and performance enhancement benefits.

"In response to: Are you saying you lost 10% of your body fat in 3 months.....???"

Fairly close. But, tbh, that's a guess. Waist went from 35 to 31 (31 - 32 about old normal). But this was also with a layoff from weight training in general, so my results would be a bit above normal. Some of my results came from before I started TRT. It was the process of training again that led me to investigate my low T levels.

I gotcha. Yeah just wanted to clarify cause you'll have guys steppin over each other trying to get on trt when people make incredible claims like that. Not to discredit you as your hard work should be acknowledged and I for one have a lot of respect for you for having lost so much body fat, but you probably aren't at 10% if you were in the ballpark of 20% 3 months ago. That's an extraordinary loss of body fat and I'm not a math guy but if someone sat down and did the math on that I'd be willing to bet it's almost impossible to lose fat that quickly..

a 200lb guy at 20% bodyfat would have to lose 22lbs of fat and no muscle to end up at 178lbs and 10% bodyfat.
    pretty tall order

Yeah my levels aren't that low, but I was around 900 years ago when I got tested, so I'd like to see how I feel around that number. I know what you mean about keeping all hormones in balance, but I always thought that at a reasonable TRT dose, essentially replacing endogenous levels, it should be pretty simple. Any foreseeable issues if I donate blood every couple of months, keep my blood pressure in check, eat clean, sleep and get my cardio in? I'll be getting bw every 2 months to verify everything adjust as necessary. Taking HCG too.

I mean I'm no doctor but you seem like a reasonable individual so as long as you're responsible about it and stay on top of bloods then honestly I don't see an issue with it.

***That advice is for him specifically. If you're under 30 (or over 30 with healthy levels) please don't apply that advice to yourself!

Trt should, if dialed in on high end (1000ng) , let you keep your cycle gains and help you overall ferl better and loose fat, if diet is setup to do so.
