Bleeding from pin

So, something happened that's never happened before. I stuck my shot in, aspirated, got the little bubble, then injected the gear. I pulled the needle out and blood shot out. I mean shot out, a few drops hit the mirror, several across the counter. It was bright red like arterial blood. I know the gear is where its gonna be, but has this happened to anyone else? Three cycles and this has never happened once, it kinda freaked me out.

Yeah it’s happened to me.

you nicked an artery somewhere along the needles path. It’s not a big deal. I can usually tell when I nick an artery, vein, or a nerve because it hurts. I don’t feel anything traveling through muscle tissue.
