Taking breaks mid-cycle
I haven’t injected anything in about a week. I was previously on around 900 mg test+deca . Life got in the way and I just didn’t have the time or energy to go to the gym (plus bad diet). With a month left in my cycle, I am thinking about starting it back up as soon as my schedule clears.
I was thinking, might there be any benefits to stopping like that and giving my body a break? It’s true that I’m taking long ester steroids , so my body still has some juice left in it. But I wonder how I will feel if I jump back into it in another week? Maybe then I can extend the rest of the cycle since I gave my body a small break?
I’ve been also self-analyzing myself and how I feel. I noticed the sex drive dropped a bit these last few days - I’m no longer always aroused around my gf. This morning I found myself obsessing over negative thoughts and getting really angry at like 6 am. Now I’m feeling better at work. I’m curious how my strength has been affected in the gym.
Curious to hear your experiences with taking breaks mid-cycle.

^ exactly . take a break for a couple weeks and start back up , or don't take a break . whatever it doesn't really matter. you don't have to have this perfect 12 week cycle planned out and follow it to a T and never skip an injection. just go with the flow.
shit I randomly inject shit all the time and randomly take off from injecting shit .. heck I'm not even on a Tren Ace cycle yet Monday I injected 400mg of Tren just for the Fk of it. I've not injected any more since.
you can be on and come off whenever and get back on, and rotate compounds etc. and do whatever the hell you want . there are no "rules" to this shit.

I noticed that not giving a constant supply results in mood swings. And that's it. I also lifted really light around week 8, felt tired, resumed later.

Double up the dose for the injection you missed and jump right back into it. Eat some dbols for the mental boost.

I'm amazed at some of the stuff this guy says sometimes but it's great.
OP, I'm on my first cycle, I freaked out about blood pressure and actually skipped a shot myself and then went back to it at a lower dose when my BP "normalized". And honestly....that might be about the best decision I've made in this cycle so far. I'm not experienced enough to give advice about it, but I doubt that taking a break will be the end of the world. You got this

Arcann, my blood pressure also seemed to go up on my first cycle. I was around 155-165/90 after work. That’s when I ran just test, at around 800 mg/week with Arimidex .25 E3D.
That had me worried because I already have high bp and I was on 2 types of BP pills already. Now I’m generally between 105-125/55-65, with no change in medication or lifestyle really. The only change was I moved to a better place, with less stress. I still get the occasional 140 over something, but I’m better now than I was 10 years ago.
Thanks everyone for your inputs - I am going to resume the cycle within a couple of weeks. I feel fresher somehow, I Think the break wasn’t a bad idea.

if your 8 weeks out from a show, your running orals and short ester compounds, every single day and hour absolutely matters to get in contest shape and be ready for a show .. then yes I'd advise not skipping a dosage. not skipping a meal. not skipping a cardio session, etc..
but for most of us basic gym rats , and especially for us guys running long esters and multiple compounds together (like say test e, deca , eq), its not going to make a difference really if we miss a shot , or if we take a week or 2 off then come back and double up our dosage a bit. we are not going to miss a beat really.
also, especially for those that blast and cruise and are running long ester compounds as a base.. its totally fine to do the opposite, instead of taking a couple weeks off and missing some injections, you can take a couple short weeks and really blast then go back to your maintenance dosage. lets say you never ran Anadrol before and you want to give it a try. well you don't have to plan out this whole cycle just to do that. blast a 100mg a day for 2 weeks and see how you feel then go back to your regular cycle/cruise.
like I mentioned above . I may be on a basic low dose cruise , but then one week pin 400mg of Tren and 1500mg of Test JUST for that week , because maybe I know I'm going to be eating a lot that week and have a free schedule knowing I'm going to get some good workouts in too . then I may just go right back to my low dose cruise.

I wish you all could have followed my fucked up regiment from the start of this year.
I have lost no mass.
I lost weight and fat very slow.
Then bounced back and forth ten times on the scale.
Injections were pretty much whatever I had.
Name it and I shot it or took two week breaks.
Not saying this is the way to do it but when gh says real mass is hard to lose he speaks truth.
New gains are easy for a guy just starting (2 years in)

100% on point here.. real tissue is maintained with nutrition and intensity in training. missing shots, randomly injecting whatever you have on hand, etc.. is secondary big time. if you lose tissue its not cause your drug game suffered and you missed injections, its cause you constantly over and over and over again missed meals and workouts . period.
heres insight into a pro bodybuilder mindset-- follow along here guys, you see this question all the time on every forum ever and its repeated every other week for the last 15 years.
"I'm traveling for a week or so out of town , how do I pack my drugs or what do I do to stay on cycle" ..
pro bodybuilder answer .. '' wtf, I'm not bringing drugs or even worried about that .. I've got 7 meals a day for 7 days straight I need to prep and figure out how to bring in suitcases with me on my trip"
big difference in mindset here

I’m watching that world’s strongest man “reality” show with Bryan Shaw and Eddie Hall. Over a month ago I was watching one of their clips on YouTube and Eddie keeps talking about this “Wispa Gold” candy bar and how great it is in the uk. He talked it up so much that I ordered two dozen on Amazon directly from England.
I completely forgot about it and one day found a relatively heavy medium small box on my front step, with postage from England. When I open up to see what’s inside, I see some chrome, and gold metallic stuff. Wrapped in bubble wrap and tape. My first thought was oh shit they fucked up and sent me a bunch of vials. Then I realized it was these candy bars. Great timing as usual, just as I’m taking this break from lifting/steroids and eating like shit already.
I’m definitely not following the feeding protocol you guys are talking about. It’s all Chinese, Wendy’s, and cereal, with candy bars, for me. kinda refreshing in a way. I’ve been focusing on my beard more, getting that right taper, focusing on longevity.
Soon I’ll be back on cycle and living that clean life.
