How old is too old to be cycling

I never touched gear until I was 41 years old. Been athletic all my life and felt like I was sliding downhill. Saw how amazing I felt so got on TRT at 42 years old. I’ve been running 2 cycles per year for about 12 weeks each time and returning to my TRT dose in between. So far I’ve never had any issues. I’m currently 48. I really enjoy how I feel on cycle and the physical results are amazing. While on TRT I just feel normal but I know that’s how it’s supposed to be. I believe I can be on TRT indefinitely but at what point should I stop the cycles? My TRT dose is 100-125mg per week test E. A typical cycle for me is 500mg test and 200-300mg tren per week. I’ve done as much as 700mg tren but that was a mistake. Felt bad and results were no better than 300mg. I usually throw 100mg Nandrolone in there for joints and at some point I add either Masteron or Proviron to clear the receptors and for the sexual benefits. I control estrogen with 1mg arimidex twice per week.
I do bloodwork twice per year for my doctor but I’ve only done bloodwork after being off cycle for at least 6 weeks and it’s always perfect. One time test was a little high but everything else was still perfect.
Let me know what age it gets too dangerous for heart attacks or whatever else there is that can happen.

Kudos for being conscious of this.

If you feel good, are taking all the proper precautions that come with age, and have your raining and diet dialed in, you shoudl be able to stay on.

With age Tren may be something to put to the side, but if you're keeping the doses mild and taking the proper recautions you should be fine.

Skip Hill is 62 and he's still on, i have a friend who's 57, same thing. But they do it responsibly.

Ran a test, tren (125 mg) mast, HGH cycle at 61-62. I dug it & the body handled it well. However, that’s likely it, but it’s just my choice, not dictated by any present medical issues. Now at 65, just running prescribed TRT at 120-150/wk.

Do your cardio, eat clean. Look at your family history of medical issues (particularly cardiovascular), and watch your blood pressure. As you said, you’re already monitoring your blood work.

My gym owner is 60 and a masters ifbb pro. Im bigger than him but his height and overall look are god for bodybuilding..hes on loads of shit. Told me personally 10iu of hgh pharm…tons of AAS.

There isnt a number for age to say well this is it you can’t cycle anymore. You have to be smart, listen to your body, get bloods frequently and be smart

The best way to know if it's going to be safe on your heart is to check on the current condition of your heart. You probably would want an EKG done to see how your heart is pumping (and many problems will show up on this). The next thing you could have done is a CAC test which is a type of CT scan that's specifically looks for calcified plaque buildups inside the arteries that feed blood to the heart.

You probably at your age should have an EKG done every other year or so whether or not you're on steroids .

But if both of these come back good, I'd say as long as your standard bloodwork comes back good and you don't have any uncontrolled high blood pressure, you should be reasonably fine to run gear.
