    Is RU58841 safe for hairloss?

Seems like its solid. Been hearing a lot of good things about it. However I know it hasn't been studied long terms and the side effects some people get are scary.

Would you guys use this product. And to go further would you use this product if you have children in your home? I have a 5 month old daughter at home and this is a topical substance so worried about exposure to her if I'm dropping it on my head. Is there any risks to her if she were to lay on something I laid on or if she touches my hair. What do you guys think?

I think I've already weighed in on this, but let me say it again: shave your head.

RU58841 is NOT well studied, which means the known side effects could just be the tip of the iceberg. As for transference, that is going to depend a lot on the carrier and how well it dries.

I'm glad you're concerned about accidental exposure to your children. A lot of people don't think about that at all. What I'd tell you is that, if you have any concerns whether or not using a topical substance for hair preservation/regrowth will cause an accidental exposure to your kids, then you shouldn't mess with it at all. In the grand scheme of things, your hair really isn't that important.

And if you want to do something about your thinning/receding hairline then go look in to hair transplants. There are some really good doctors now who do work so good you can't tell that the their patients ever got hair transplants. It'll cost you a lot more money than some topical creams and pills, but most of those places are willing to finance.

Thanks. You think the same should go for topical finasteride. Shouldn't use that as well with possible exposure risks?

OP, you asked this same question here: https://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-...-children.html

Fishing for the answer you want won't change the responses.

Yea but this is about ru. Didn't know if there was possible exposure risks. I hear different things. Some say it doesn't go systemic so thought it might be a better option with a little one around. Although I hear it blocks all receptors even those around the heart of it goes systemic. Hence why people get chest pain / sob so I. That case it's a no go .

This was your question from above. No real matter, I suppose, the answer is still the same. Children and women should not be exposed to finasteride, and RU is absolutely a big unknown.

I got my dht levels checked. Normal range is 12-65 and mine came back at 118. Any dangers it being that high? Should I do oral fin increase of topical to lower it?

Are you having any high dht sides? Some docs just let it be high if not.

That said, there are two main areas of concern: hair loss and prostate. You seem concerned about hair loss. That's something some of us are just predisposed toward, in that case, there isn't a lot to do about it.

Prostate issues can be more concerning. What is your PSA with DHT being that high?
