i've been exposed!
bad news for me !
some background:
i've got two younger brothers in my taekwondo class. my instructor is personally a good friend with my dad. during class today he blurted out "<name>, are you using steroids , or amino acids?" of course i denied using steroids, but he said he could "tell these things" from my face. WTF? how can it be bloat if I've been running liquiddex every other day? but not only that, 3 different people came up to me and commented on how huge i am. I can't even really tell that I've gotten very much bigger, but maybe my lats are getting a lot wider. i think my trap is getting thick too.
so... uhhh.. where was i... the point? the point is i dont know if i should continue my cycle. i really want to. i've gained 10+ pounds so far and it's only been 3 full weeks. but i wonder if its water weight? i can't tell if i'm bloating. does it matter what time of day i take liquiddex? maybe i should start taking it every day instead of every other? maybe a whole 1 mg daily?
what do you guys think of my situation?
update:
my bro just told me my taekwondo instructor used to be a personal trainer for weight lifters... maybe thats how he knew by "looking at my face." how can i hide my cycling from him?
if my problem is bloat, how can i shed the water weight?

to the person suggesting short ester:
i'm running test enanthate and tren acetate in my cycle. are you saying if i cut the test enanthate out of my cycle, in a couple weeks i should lose all the bloat, so my instructor won't be able to "see it in my face" that i'm still using trenbolone ?
to the person who asked my age: i'm 21Last edited by ziggyj; 08-16-2003 at 03:30 AM.

This guy sounds like a mouth piece. Go to http://www.aluminumbats.com/ and pick up the new Easton...maybe a little friendly beat down will make this guy keep his mouth shut!
As far as your cycle...who cares what they think. Keep working hard and forget about those jealous babies!

Oh, and congrats on your progress, not everyone can be so modest about their gains....10 lbs in 3 weeks is impressive and I don't doubt it a bit... keep it up, you will own that class. BTW, keep your aggression to minimal, you don't want the amino acids that you're taking to be the cause of a hospitalization.

ooop, didnt see that T-e in there, but fuck it...it's bloat, it will go away... you're inst. knows it's too late... don't cut your cycle short on account of him...it's cool. A lot of shit causes weight gain. especially T-e.. haha, but if you eat a lb of raisins every night for a month, you will probably gain 10 lbs too

Up your anti-e dose to 1cc LiquidEx ED or get some FEMERA (letrozole ) and take 1/2cc ED. That should really take off the bloat.

don't stop what your doing for that jackass. keep training hard and doing what your doing...and never admit to anything.....NEVER !!!!

Agreed. Never admit to shit. I like the whole kickin' him in the nuts thing, that's pretty funny! You could also take up a different form like jujitsu or something and go to another dojo where your instructer is not such an asshole trying to "call you out" in front of everyone. He's not getting paid to be a jerk, is he.

imo .. There is no reason to cut a cycle short just because someone is trying to call you out. Stick with the Creatine/Protein/Diet story and tell them you've taken on new training techniques, anything to get him second guessing himself. And if he keeps up, then just say "why don't you get me tested if you don't believe me", which he'll never do because he personally won't pay what it costs to test you. Keep working hard Bro, apparently you're doing well.

I give my muay thai instructor steroid advice.... He's all about me juicing, the stronger the better.

Quit Taekwondo! Its useless anyways, start training some BJJ
Just kidding bro. I wouldn't cut the test out cause you will ruin your cycle when it sounds like it is going good. Just brush it off. Your old enough to decide what you want to do with your body.

thanks for all the advice guys. i ordered some liquid letrozole today, so hopefully i'll get it by the end of the week and shed any water weight i might be carrying. then if my instructor insists he can "see it in my face," i'll know he's bullshitting.

Yeah, I'd say I was on massive amounts of creatine. It does cause you to hold water so...
Nixter.

1mg ed of liquidex worked for me , but I was losing some gains so I just stopped it. But personally I have no reason to hide a little bloat.

Big bump to that! get yourself in BJJ and muay thai and become a killing machine.

Brazilian Jujitsu is THE ART OF 2000. Choke holds and submissions dominate over kicks and punches.
TELL YOUR INSTRUCTOR YES you are doing roids and ask if he knows of any sources cheap. Maybe he is asking to see if you are a potential customer for his black market, behind the studio sales.
Take a look at him and determine if he has done roids. THEN KICK HIM IN THE NUTS.... He will laugh I promise.

Do what these guys are saying. If you are still bloated with your current dose of liquadex then up it. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water because the more water you drink the less you will hold. You need to do this anyways.

hmmm....along with my brilliant idea of kicking him in the nuts, tell him your taking a shitload of pro-hormones if he asks about the weight gain.

Do not stop your cycle. Everyone is different when running a course. You have to know what your areas of sides are. Understand that and do not let someone freak you out. If they have something to say let them. Creatine gives you water retention. Once you start go till you're finished unless there is a medical reason that stops you. Congrats on the gain in weight.

LMAO!!! Your instructor is just nervous that you're gonna get so jacked he won't be able to take you. So my advice...make him sweat bullets.

I always wondered where all these people were taking JKD... I've been involved in martial arts well over a decade and I've never come across anyone in real life who knew even the basics of it, nevermind was an instructor.

Well, I am sure bemirch trained in earnest at whatever school it was - its just that there are really few who are part of the nucleus, much less students of direct bruce students like Taky kimura or Ted Wong - too often schools advertise bruce all over the place but the real students wouldnt even mention the word JKD out of respect for the longest time - What I took was called "modified accelerated wing chun gung fu" - danny innosanto is a good fighter in his own right but IMO he or his students have added a lot of crap to commercialize what they do.
I studied with someone in the garage with a supposed maximum of 12 students tho I never saw more than 6 of us. that someone was a bruce student a few months before he died and then was trained by ted wong, taki and peter king - cant get better than that - If any of you are in LA and want to be trained by the best trainer I have ever met and know what REAL JKD is, PM me and I will give you his number.

Ok. For one: The ONLY BELT system we had was NO BELT or BLACK BELT. I dont think I ever mentioned any other belt.
For two: Almost EVERY martial arts system that hits America is going to become commercialized or standardized to some degree UNLESS you train PERSONALLY with a true instructor.
Im not claiming any fame. Just said I got my black belt in JKD. Never said it was AUTHENTIC to Bruce Lee. I can say I had a DAMN GOOD INSTRUCTOR.
Double kicks??? Just because they dont teach them, does that mean I cant do them???? uh ok.
Most of my kicks I practice are for the head anyway.
I dont even know how my post started the argument. WTF
Oh yeah. The part where you can GUARANTEE I didnt learn how to kick correctly all based on a sentence where I typed I did double kicks...
That is great observation to my form. Thanks for pointing it out. Any tips on how I can improve my kicks. Maybe my stance was wrong???
Are we gonna argue about BJJ next?Last edited by bermich; 08-17-2003 at 10:26 PM.
