Sign or not
Yo,
Just needed info on getting a package usps. Does it require a signature on an overnight delivery when it is brought to your door? Also can a guy waive the signature that is sending the item? (the item in this case is a basket weaving kit for my grandma's 90th birthday) So when the kit arrives do I have to sign for it? Thanks

You can ask the seller of the "kit" to wave the signature.

Just sign like I do with my signatures.
B ___________ C______ (Last initial)_________
I just write three letters in my signature and put a line for my name. I'm too lazy to do it any other way.

I think you should be ok. I think it takes more than a day for the feds to set up a controlled delivery. A lot of man power and money that they probably wouldn't waste just to bust your sorry ass. Just kidding bro. I don't think you have anyting to worry about.
