Just take capsules... and stay on them or long term, after 2-3 months they start kicking in and cutting fat pretty good. Take Q-10 with it, makes carnitine more effective.

Yea but carnitine is a very benefitial protein, side effects of taking are reduced chance of heart desease, lower incidence of gum problems like gingivitus or periodontal desease and it does kick in on its own to help mean hard to show abs come out. I think it should be taken for its health benefits. There is only one meat naturally abundant in it, that is lamb. If you dont eat lamb, chances are you are not getting but minor traces of this very beneficial protein. I just dont see the need for injected mega doses of it. 250 mg caps once a day will do you fine.
