This thread certianly took off, but on a serious note I am leaving for cancun next week, how much winny do I need to get cut and ripped, my stats are 250lbs 5'6" 28% bodyfat and I've never lifted before, any opinions???
I wish I was still in school and could go somewhere warm right now, but no, I get to freeze my butt off in Beantown. ( home of the superbowl champion New England Patriots......HEY NOW!!!!!)

I'm in South Florida and I have to deal with this **** every year this time...The worst is the highschool kids because they think they know everything and think that winny is the miracle drug to get ripped...the funny part is they think they are when they are done with this 4 -6 week cycle of winny...can never understand it, but hey that's what it is and when spring break is over the gym will be cleared up again....dont have to wait for these no form lifters to get off the equip...

When I was working out at my college gym last spring it was amazing to see how crowded it became about a month before our spring break. Then after the break was over, you'd never see most of them again. I don't know what they thought they could accomplish in 3 or 4 weeks.

I got tired of the " I wanna be ripped, I heard steroids was the way to go, I've been training for a solid 3 months, what do u think would be a good cycle?" posts a while back, so most of the time I don't even answer them.
I heard a kid in my gym the other day tell his buddies that he only lifts his arms so he can wear wifebeaters and be ready for spring break so he can go to the clubs and pick up chicks.

I totally agree with you...i live on the shore and it always seems that at this time you start seeing new faces at the gym and then you get the "how can i get ripped quick" questions. I cant stand them anymore...i am sorry but if you want to get ripped for summer you should start now and wait till the next summer....people think it is way to easy to just get ripped/huge. I wrestled and everyone always said that it was a easy sport till i challeneged them to try it and jsut as i suspected no one could do it....well the same thing goes with lifting.....you think its a quick easy thing to do well i hate to tell you but you are wrong

bump for the newbies.......i wont mention any names but,i already dealt with two of them today.........one said hes ready(got the gear which wasnt enough and didnt even know what to do with it)the other was the all famous winny only for six weeks.

You can throw those New Year’s revolutioner’s in there as well. One in the same if you ask me. My patients have drawn thin in the past few years with these types of people in the gym. However it is funny to watch them thin as they realize that this **** hurts. I can read around a post, but I can not get that dumb ass dude off the bench who has not even taken enough time to learn good form. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh get the F*** off you jackass and quit talking I need that bench.
I see pumping iron as something more spiritual than getting ripped. Getting ripped is the icing on the cake. Your mind and body are one and I am very in tune to it during this time. My wish is that some people will learn this in their get ripped quick mind set.
