I stay away from quads. Glutes/Delts/Calves/Tris are the money spots.

I tried injecting into the quads once, I couldn't get it right and I hit a nerve because my leg spasmed. So easy enough, I just hit glutes after leg day so I won't feel it the next day during a workout.

how high up do you go ? your supposed to be about mid quad and towards the outer side slightly. are you aware that you have a major artery in your upper quads ? you might want to stay away from that spot.

I'm doing quads right now with prop/tren . Zero pain in my left quad and a bit on the right but no more painfull then glutes and delts. I haven't hit a nerve or drawn blood in the dart yet doing quads. Besides quad shots are a breeze to do.
I'm shooting about 6" down from the top of the thigh.

Female readers...ignore this....
I have bull nuts that hang quite low....I hit my quad on plane with the bottom of my sack.
I guess that is pretty high up, but it is about even with some of the shots on spotinjections. I have no pain, and no problem.

Quads and glutes would have to be the easiest spots to shoot bro.

However accurate, I made that post in jest. I saw Da Bull lurking, and knew Scott would read it. I was just setting them up to flame the hell out of me.Last edited by Swellin; 01-02-2004 at 09:52 PM.

But yeah, the higher up the less pain for me as well...All I can figure is you don't activate the higher part of the muscle intensely that high up unless you're specifically working that area i.e. Squats etc etc.
BUT, that would fly in the face of purposely working out a just shot muscle to increase dispersity and thus lessen the pain...
So what the heck do I know?
High Quad shots are less painfull to me...that's what I DO know.
Why exactly...got me.

Imagine running Prop and/or Suspension, Tren , & Winny, along with HCG at the end of the cycle?
How in the world, unless you're a glutten, would you get around Quad shots? Especially if you work for a living?
I can't comfortably reach my Lats or Glutes really anymore, I'm on the Ladder too much for too many Calf shots, and I tend to get noticable "Dot" marks on my arms with Bi's and tri's (maybe you don't though) and clients/people that don't lift like we do tend to look at our arms anyway..itty bitty little "scabs" aren't a welcomed sight.

Knock on wood, but i do ed injections and most of my injections I do in quads. I have not hit a nerve or major artery yet. And as far as that money spot goes, its easier to hit when you are sitting on a hard surface as a opposed to a soft on like a couch. I shoot in the upper portion and more towards the outside of the quad, works great.

I hit the quads right above the knee on the outer side.every third shot I run across a nerve,no big deal.I like delt & pec shots alot also.

Quads = the s**t, high up and farther toward the outside of the muscle. Can't beat it for convenience and injection volume....

I hit high in the quad last summer apparently with some nasty sh-it. I put 1cc in each leg and almost couldnt walk for 3days. It was brovell test enanth, I think it was miss labeled prop.

No way. The glutes are one of the hardest for me to hit. I like delts and quads.

I do quads when I have ED injections. I found the same that I've seen in this thread. The higher up, the less painful. I hit on the outside. And I have no idea why its less painful?!?!

When you inject lower, it tends to enter the part of the muscle that is used while bending the knee. So it's pretty logical that if you shoot for example sustanon , you will feel it like every step you are taking. Thats why glutes are better to steroids which give you pain, since you wont flex your ass that much while walking
