preloading syringes and leakage
How do you preload a syringe and prevent the plunger from pushing out the gear?
What made me think of this is, what if I want to get my homebrew tested. I would preload a needle and send it in, but what’s ensuring that it won’t have leaked out?

What if you say put 1 ml of juice in and pull the plunger back beyond the 2 cc mark or even maybe further and then tape the plunger back. This would leave room for quite a bit of space for the plunger to move if accidentally bumped. I think this is what your asking.
Whatcha gonna do......

You shouldn't have a problem.. the gear doesn't have to be sterile for them to test it, so any way they get the 2 ml is fine.

Just spend a few bucks and buy a small sterile sealed vial to send the sample in. I wouldn't bother with putting it in a syringe and sending it.

Dont you have a bottle left over from your kit you brewed from. I have two. Kit came with 3 bottles didnt it. One BA, one oil, one sterilized for final product? Use one of them and ship it off.
