Whats the difference between the two?? Do they both play the same role or is one better than the other??

Same mechanism of action, but letro is much stronger and should not be used IMO unless you have extreme sensitivity to estrogenic sides. Letro will usually have more dramatic adverse effects on lipids, and the addition of SERMs will reduce it's plasma levels.
For your cycle, I'd suggest .25mg L-dex + 10mg Nolva
