Dumb question but worth asking (at least I think :) )
Can someone briefly explain how testosterone makes us stronger in the gym?
When I think of dbol for ie, I understand that a big factor is the increase in water weight, which helps us lift more...but how does test actually help us lift more?
Does it have a direct impact on strenght or does it simply allow us to recuperate faster, thus leading to better workouts and increase in strenght?

bigger, denser muscles make for better strength.
I wonder if it has any effect on the CNS which does affect 1RM.
