What the HELL?! Look at this
Lost legs?
Could steroids have really been the cause?

The steroids were not the likely cause, but it is entirely possible that an infected injection site or an infected absess could have been the cause. That doesn't mean that the steroids themselves are to blame at all, but rather the unsanitary use or abuse of the injectable solution. In all likeliness, he could have had the same result from injecting vitamin B-12.
I swear the world is completely full of ignorant people who have no problem opening their mouths to express this ignorance freely. We are all surrounded by idiots.

This type of thing happens every four years in this country, and once the elections are over, the heat will suside on our little community. But please, don't make an uncomfortable situation into a disaster by voting for John Kerry. I have nothing to gain from this, but have a lot to lose if he is elected.
If you have any doubts, read up on Socialism a little, please.

I agree with the post noting that probably an abscess gone wrong, or something like that. Not sanitizing with alcohol swab before hand, buying garbage, etc. Probably figured he would get a pat on the back for being the spokesman for standing up against this. But like the other posts note, we are surrounded by idiots, and people keep listening to them.

If John Kerry is elected this anti steroid witch hunt will end, and seeing a boob on TV won't spark a crisis.
I beleive in many socialist principals but this isn't the place to debate that. However there are many successful socialist countries in the world today.

It's amazing to me how our society will attempt to villify that which they do not understand...nor, take the time/effort to understand. They flood the media with propoganda about the "evils" of steroid use and how those who choose to use these chemicals are nothing more than common criminals. So, they create laws against the use/distribution of, not only AAS, but all performance enhancing substances with the hopes of garnering votes and appeasing the public. After all, "we're protecting the children." I have not seen one post...NOT ONE...in this forum where any individual under the age of 18 (21, for that matter) has been given any advise other than to NOT use AAS until a later age. Our government has done the same thing with other "controlled substances." Has it stopped the use of these drugs?...NO....has it curbed the supply of these drugs coming to the US?...NO. When will people finally get it? If there is a demand...there will be a supply, regardless of the laws. Congress needs to be less concerned with AAS use and more concerned that US citizens are paying $2/gallon for gas....just my .02 GD

it is too bad he lost his legs
its also too bad he doesnt take responsibility for his own actions
had he went on to win the heavyweight title do you think he would have said i dont want or deserve this belt cause i was using juice and its bad
-
steroids are BAD right? but its okay cigarettes are legal....its okay alcohol is legal....thousands of men/women dying from lung and kidney failure is not enough to justify banning these subs...but one guy making a preposterous claim on how steroidc cut off his circulation is enough to be put on media ad nauseam......hail to the land of the free and home of the brave!

yes its possible to loose the legs with AAS. if the man is dumb enough to blame them, then he is dumb enough to try to inject with an axe.
