I asked my local dealer for some Cytomel and he gave me some stuff with the ingredient called levothyroxine sodium, which is not the ingredient in Cytomel.Does anyone know what this is, how effective it is and what doses should be taken.Thanks

Levothyroxine HCl = Levothroid, a thyroid supplement.

And when anyone asks, "I have some ______. What is it, and how do I use it," I give them my standard answer: If you have to ask what it is, you shouldn't use it. Period.

And if I'm in a nice mood (and yes, you lucky bastard, you caught me in a nice mood), I cordially suggest that they go to any standard search engine (like Yahoo and enter the drug name as a search term, then read some of the articles they find . . . They might learn something in addition to what you have just learned here - to take responsibility and do your own research before you start popping or shooting things into your body. Because merely asking what something is when you already have it is not enough.

TNT, Im sorry to bother you with a question like that, but I figured that the purpose of this board is for people to ask questions about certain drugs and maybe they will get a response from someone that has taken the drug and knows what to expect.Isnt that research?And if I can't ask a question like that on the board, then whats the purpose of this site?I did research and its t-4, but I still dont know what the right dosages are for someone that weighs 255.Will I find that on yahoo?NO!Thats why I ask here.Then someone like you comes over and pisses me off by preaching to the choir.If Im asking about it, do you think Im taking it?No, its called RESEARCH, it was given to me and Im checking it out.So think about that before you act all high and mighty, because some of us are not know it all's like you.
